The vibrating ones are audible at a red light or <25mph, but totally acceptable IMO. I'm starting to notice a particularly excessive rattle for the passenger seat during a specific part of the massage/vibration, though.

We got tons of frozen rain yesterday, and the door handles had solid ice over them. I thought it would be impossible for them to open, but then after it struggled, I heard a small motor violently (in a good way) shake itself loose and break through the ice. Pretty cool.

I dont see why this would affect the resale value. The MSRP of a fully loaded GT has not changed. Options within a trim level are somewhat new to Lucid but have been around for decades with other vehicles.

Yeah, the hardware definitely does not cost $14k. I’m just saying it feels bad to either pay $14k for features knowing all cars have the hardware, or to save $14k knowing the hardware is artificially disabled. I think the EU is trying to ban this practice.

So then what are they going to do for every vehicle that purchased without these 14k options? Install the hardware anyway? Cant imagine how that's possibly more cost effective than plastic spacers they can contract out for pennies a piece.

My main issue with shipping the vehicle with the hardware for $14k of software features means I wont feel confident I'm getting my moneys worth with a lower trim. It becomes easy to fudge the true cost of the vehicle. If I don't want the feature, I don't want the hardware. Otherwise it just...

Uh oh... that signals they are joining BMW in shipping the hardware, but requiring a subscription/more $ to use it. I guess its not that big a deal if you save 100% by not buying it, but whos to say how they'll hide the price into the base cost now. I dont like this direction.

My knee jerk reaction was "this may be bad news", but Lucid obviously has filled all the pent-up demand for the original 154k trim, so it only makes sense to expand into less profitable trims now. Just a sign of their non-stop growth and appeal to broader groups!

Ive seen a factory reset option in the menu, but not sure how comprehensive of a "reset" it is. It could just be a user profile reset, or a total system level reset.
