Rumor has it that the trunk and frunk position sensors lose traack of their position when opened for more than 10-15 minutes making the automatic close inoperable. Closing them manually will not hurt anything.

Lucid's paint shop can change colors on every car. The Paint shop is not limiting the color choice or the number of cars in a color that are run together. The choice of batching/batch size, is being made for other reasons.

Some owners have problems where the soft close will not fully close the door on some occasions. Some cars show the problem more often and on more doors than others. My driver side rear soft close will fail about one in five times so I am looking forward to this fix.

Lane centering is part of Drive Assist and only works on mapped highways and freeways. It will not work on city streets.

@TahoeMichael is correct, the HUD, dynamic lighting and power outlets were tied as one option bundle for marketing purposes. Hence, it makes sense to use one wiring harness for that option package.

Getting rid of one or two types of sensors that may disagree is not the solution. Better sensor fusion is the solution. Getting rid of sensors is a safety risk to save cost.

Nick Twork already told us the answer, the common piece is the wiring harness. The HUD is not doing anything for dynamic ambient lighting.

The hardware is not something that can be retrofitted or added later, even by Lucid.
