I, for one, think wireless-only CarPlay is trouble waiting to happen. It's fine to start loading the resources early, but having instruments depend on wireless comms is making the hair on my neck stand up.

I generally have one with my kit when I go out, I just don't think to use it unless I'm long exposure or awkward angle pics. (And yes, I try to avoid being in front of the lens too. You caught me. 😬)

I had this happen too, and noticed that the time to install was different for the two prompts (40 min for the first install, 45 min for the second). The first install said it finished, then on the next drive I was prompted for the second time. I let it install the second time and it's been fine...

Remember, Cd is a ratio of frontal area to drag. The smaller car with the same Cd as a larger one will still be more efficient because there's less area.
