I would take it back to them ASAP and tell them they need to fix that issue until it all fits together correctly. That's unacceptable body work --even more so if it's causing issues with parts hitting each other which goes beyond just "cosmetic".

Texted my sales advisor with some trade in updates and mentioned the studio rep told me the car was in Houston. My sales guy then told me he thinks the car is still in AZ...now I don't know who to believe!🤦‍♂️

Talked to the Legacy West studio today to get more info about the deliver process...apparently my DE is already in Houston! I guess they send it there for PDE first before moving it to Dallas. He said it's very realistic that I could have it by next week! Anyone else close to getting theirs?

Got a call from my Sales guy this afternoon. He said my DE is in production and should be delivered by the end of the month! I didn't believe my ears and clarified...he said should be by the end of the month, June at the latest. Just logged into my account and it does show "in production".

I agree, it's not worth the price...unless they are giving a discount towards it. If they do, it might be worth paying about the same price as the Tesla charge with the added bonus of 80A charging and the promise of V2H. Otherwise, I agree...I would just buy the tesla charger.

I was wondering what happened to the place I vaguely remember reading about a while back that was downtown near the medical center area. I guess that explains why it never materialized. I agree, they definitely need one in the DFW area ASAP.

A bit off topic but am I reading this correct that Lucid has a physical place to service cars in the Dallas area? This is excellent news to me if true since I have a Gravity on order and have been a little worried that if my car has an issue it would have to be shipped to Houston for service.

You cannot go on the website and order a DE directly. It's not shown to the general public. If you're seeing it on your webpage, you are logged in.

So, I actually checked for this yesterday during my test drive. I was able to aim it towards my face (which I like)...so perhaps it has a bit to do with seating position and height?

I got a message back that I have a build number but no VIN assigned yet. He guessed the build would be end of this month or early next month.
