Still no motor. They now say possibly tomorrow.

So, obviously that error had nothing to do with the door handle. I am told at this point the car needs a new rear motor. That motor is on order and is expected to arrive today or tomorrow with a day and a half of installation.

Well, they have now had it almost two and a half days. Communication has been good, I am persistent so I have initiated the contact. It appears they have discovered an issue that needs resolving, one way or another but no ETA currently.

What I meant was, I could see the car being put into turtle mode if a door was open, from a safety standpoint. But, that wasn't the error that was thrown. It was a drive system error, not a safety warning that a door was 'open'.

Why would you even transfer the warranty if your going to bring the car back?

I could see it from a safety feature standpoint. The car won’t operate with a door open but that wasn’t the fault that was thrown. It was a drive fault vs a safety error.

Hopefully picking up mine tomorrow. It completed production back in the beginning of January. It was finally released after a variety of delays last week. It is a new company, working out the bugs. A lot of bugs.. But I believe they will overcome the startup challenges and move into full scale...
