Yes exactly. It shows they have a high level of confidence in the quality of their product. If Lucid doesn't offer an extended warranty you have to wonder.

I agree it isn't the "highest priority" but it is still an important consideration and with owners already exceeding 50k miles it is now timely.

Ok so a number of current owners either already at or above the 50k miles or those of us who are approaching the four year expiration have indicated they would like to purchase the extended warranty; how long will it take to make it available?

Sounds like your tire shop that originally did an alignment and now says they can't do it screwed something up badly. No excuse I can think of for your rear tires wearing out with less then 12k miles?? Are you drag racing the car?
