Tesla is software-first company while Lucid is not, so it’s understandable they’ve put their efforts on the non-software side first. With that said, the sw shouldn’t languish to a point where basic expected controls aren’t working, which seems they have a passing grade on?

That’s fair to say except the exterior team isn’t the same as the software. There should be parallel tracks of progress.

As a whole, I concur. The q is, have we reached a threshold where potential EV owners don’t have to worry about range anxiety. I wouldn’t buy a Tesla if it weren’t their supercharger network.

I don’t know the software or car industry well enough to say anything with certainty but I imagine being the former is much less prohibitive in terms of regulations.

I imagine this use case works best for relatively local commutes. It’s sorta anal-retentive to be keeping with it 100% of the time.
