Lucid will not offer heads-up display on Gravity GT (for now)

Whatever the challenges confronting Lucid are, I just feel bad for the company having to manage a myriad of factors outside of their control, ranging from COVID-related supply chain issues, to high interest rates and now the tariffs. As far as supply chain goes, this remains an issue in my line...

Test Drive today - specific things to try or look for?

Thanks do much for the detailed report. There's no better ambassador than existing customer base, especially the sophisticated and devoted forum crowd.

Test Drive today - specific things to try or look for?

For me, when I remove the charging cable, I have to unlock the car and when I do that, the headlights automatically turn on. The lights could be bothersome to other cars/people in the vicinity. Maybe there's a workaround that I don't know.

Test Drive today - specific things to try or look for?

Two minor things: 1- Do you see any reflection of the dashboard on the windshield? 2- Can the charging cable be removed without fully unlocking the car and turning on the headlights? Thanks.

    Steering Wheel Creaking?

Reviewing the old service invoices, I saw a note from Lucid that "aftermarket wrap exacerbates wind noise." I never knew that ppf on the car would do this.

    Steering Wheel Creaking?

Thanks. The SC Manager did call me Friday but I couldn't take his call. Will connect with him on Monday. Regarding the wind noise, it's lately become stereo because I can hear from both sides of the car.

    Steering Wheel Creaking?

The steering wheel in my GT creaks, but not audibly. I would feel the clicking sound just like when you press down on a nail clipper. This has been present since I got the brand new car in Dec 2022. Service has looked at this 3, 4 times and replaced the steering wheel once. The car was in...

    Should I order 5 or 7 seats?

I'm of the same thoughts if I go down this route. From the engineering standpoint, mechanically or otherwise, is it operational to normalize the tires to one size? I mean, who knows if it's the front or the rear tire that would be a flat mishap. I'd feel more secure with a spare that can go on...

Recommendations for Tint and PFF in Phoenix

Agree with borski. RJ is quite a perfectionalist and he knows the Lucid inside out.

The tumblers look great. Look forward to seeing you professional space. My car’s being worked on at SC currently, though.

Out of Spec new YT video: Road to Gravity

Except for the free maintenance plan that came with our new cars, I've always done my own oil change. for years. Why? For me, I actually save time doing this myself, rather than waiting around at the dealership and I know exactly what I put in the car. For our Honda minivan, I also change the...

    Tire/Wheel Discussion

Having had a full blowout on a freeway in the desert on a Super Bowl late Sunday, I really wish the Gravity had the same tire size all around so that I could have peace of mind with a spare tire. Even at the expense of performance and cosmetics.

    Gravity Owner AMA - 4/5/25, 12PM-2PM PT

My other EV has rear wheel steering and that makes a huge difference for U turns. But the down side is one time I made a right turn just as I'd with the Air. Alas, curb climbed and instant wheel rash.

    Gravity Owner AMA - 4/5/25, 12PM-2PM PT

This is a lot of efforts for anyone, let alone someone with dyslexia, to answer all the questions so thoughtfully. Thank you so much, Annie, for your huge support to the forum. A big gratitude from all of us. P.S. How come our own Borski didn't do the AMA?

    Referral Code Needed

It’s interesting that I don’t see the old timers on the forum swoop in any time there’s a referral code request.

Just got so lucky with my order

I concur. Wisdom usually comes with experience, which is part of growing up, otherwise known as aging. But the lack of wisdom can manifest itself independent of chronological age, or any other known parameters. .

Just got so lucky with my order

I have to pass by a high school on the way to work, and I've regularly seen students driving unsafely and aggressively. Fortunately, most are decent drivers, but some shouldn't be in the driver's seat for any car, period. And I also do know a college freshman in Orlando given a Lucid by his...

Retrofitting motor mounts on earlier Airs

So for them to say "cars built before 4/15/24 are not eligible for updated parts.," it just means a polite No (in a circuitous way) to the poor souls paying full MSRP for the earlies models.

Retrofitting motor mounts on earlier Airs

Don't the cars made after 4/24 already have the updated motor mounts?
