Does anyone else wish the side mirrors could tilt down when parallel parking?

Curbed my wheel a week or so ago. Wanted to throw up. I was using the 360 camera and thought I was at a good distance. WRONG.

    May 8 / Earnings

When I was trying to decide if I was going to buy the used GT I was looking at, I called Lucid to talk about one of these "inventory" cars listed on their site at the time. It turns out those are not actual cars but, rather, specs that they know they have somewhere in production (maybe). I...

    My Air has ruined me...

Thanks for the replies. As I said I don't want to turn this into a discussion about the other cars but I can't have an electric down there. The car spends weeks at the airport sometimes and the charging infrastructure is non-existent. Plus, I need to be able to tow my boat. I purchased a...

    My Air has ruined me...

Yeah but this was less about handling and more about just general ride quality, quiet and comfort - still not a fair fight sedan vs SUV but I was surprised just how good the Air is.

    Luck o' the Irish

Hi. Just a copy of the bill of sale (showing VIN) and your temporary registration should do it - at least that's all I had to provide when I purchased mine. Been following the saga and very glad to hear all has worked out for you.

    My Air has ruined me...

So I am lucky enough to have a place in both NC and Florida (the Keys). I keep a '21 Bronco down in the Keys for when I'm down there and have the Lucid in NC. Lately, as I go back and forth, I've been bothered more and more by the completely polar opposite driving experience between the two...

    Tesla Price Decrease

I'll grant you that the lowest current trim level of Lucid is marginally competing with the highest trim level of Tesla (on fit/finish luxury, etc.) - so not the performance angle of the Plaid.

New Touring vs Used Grand Touring

Yes, I concur. They have treated me like their first customer.

    Tesla Price Decrease

Only in the eyes of people who will never actually purchase a Lucid, Mercedes or BMW (the flagship models of those brands).

New Touring vs Used Grand Touring

Very happy with my "used" GT. I feel I got a great deal because it wasn't really used. Had 160 miles on it when I got it.

    Tesla Price Decrease

Lucid has said from day 1 they are not competing with Tesla. The uneducated consumer who is just looking at price may think that but that is not Lucid's game plan. Now, if Mercedes and BMW start dropping prices, then Lucid has to take note.

It does do that but it is playing it as a singleton. Then, when it finishes, it will start playing its own auto-playlist based off of that song instead of just picking up with your playlist again.

Lucid Air aftermarket Hifi upgrade summary (and quality / configuration of the factory audio)

Both are still active. Basically I'm just using the 10" to fill in the energy in the bottom end that is missing from the other low drivers - which provide pretty good definition in the higher bass range. I'm not with the car now and I'm not sure I should hijack this guy's great thread with my...

    Lucid future and possible consequences

From a cold-hearted strictly business perspective, layoffs are a good thing. They are a cost-reduction technique which only improves the bottom line.
