Time for something fun: a car memory test

Thanks! Each of the first three was in the first or second model year of their generation and were always liked by critics but seemed underappreciated by the public. None of them has disappointed me yet.

Time for something fun: a car memory test

I keep my cars for too long, clearly, but at least it makes it easy to remember: 1996 Acura RL 2006 Acura RL 2018 Genesis G80 2023 Lucid Air Touring

RESOLVED Dumb question about the driver facing camera

Yup, everyone was right and w/ the wheel lower it was able to see my face enough to create the profile and avoid the "attention system isn't working" warning. Thanks, all!

RESOLVED Dumb question about the driver facing camera

Aye. I kept raising the wheel thinking I was blocking it by having it too low. I'll give that a go next time and see if it helps. Thanks, all

RESOLVED Dumb question about the driver facing camera

I'm prefacing this with a caveat that it may have a very easy solution, but here goes: my driver facing camera can't see me, and I'm wondering if it's because I still have the protective film on from delivery. Just got my AT delivered in Ann Arbor, Michigan!

Thanks, all, for the kind welcome! @karamhanna , ordered last Friday (11/24) and received it a week later. @hydbob , garages that actually receive vehicles just aren't a thing on our tiny lots here, but I'm hoping for a brief window of sun tomorrow! I've already bought the temporary car mats...

Just got my AT delivered in Ann Arbor, Michigan!

Delivery was very hands-off, but the heavy rain made standing around checking things no one's best choice. Gray w/ Tahoe interior, and a nice looking as one could hope.

Hardwire your home charging station! Or use a Hubbel / Bryant / Cooper 14-50 receptacle, not Leviton

Yeah, I ordered the Bryant and with the wiring run already done, can do this swap out myself with the help of a torque wench. Great thread, and thanks.

Hardwire your home charging station! Or use a Hubbel / Bryant / Cooper 14-50 receptacle, not Leviton

I had an electrician install a 14-50 receptacle on our home back when had solar added, but now that we're getting a car I'm just learning there's a real difference in quality. Is anyone able to tell from the outside if this is a "good" Eaton (5754N) or the "bad" Eaton (1258)? Can I tell...

Anyone in the Ann Arbor / Detroit (or Pittsburgh) area with a Lucid Air I could check out?

I split my time between Ann Arbor and Pittsburgh, and I'm trying to avoid a trip to Chicago before purchasing an Air Touring. Still, I'd rather not buy sight unseen. Does anyone have a Lucid in Southeast Michigan or Western Pennsylvania I could check out? Happy to meet you wherever it's...
