I haven't had that experience with EA. Is the vehicle locked when you are trying to remove the charging cable? If you have the car locked it wont release. If that isn't the case I would call customer care and see if you can get an appointment to diagnose the charger port.

Totally agree with you. But I enjoy driving a lot, so free works for me because I don’t mind chilling at a charger after a drive. But yeah, if it wasn’t free, id just charge at home and probably drive less.
