Comed denied rebate-Lucid Charger not Energy Star certified

I didn’t go with the lucid charger and got a 1k rebate from eversource in MA. I went with a ChargePoint 50A and had a 60A line installed. Total costs were 2k including charger costs. After rebate , 1K. I didn’t go with lucid since the charger wasn’t listed in their acceptable charger list that...

    Electrify America Overpriced?

EA is a rip off in MA, if you pay that is. I have a 2024 and it’s free for me. Plug and charge, I do nothing. Otherwise I’d never charge at EA. I have a home charger at 10-11kwh installed also. Charges easily overnight. At home, in MA rates suck so it’s not cheap but half the EA cost at .32cents...

5.0 miles/kWh: Say Hello to the World's Most Efficient Car

Yea and I just read another post on lease returns. Seems BofA owns the cars and lucid pays half any delta between residual and market (if I read correctly). If that’s true, BofA will auction the cars rather than offer lease buyout deals. We will see I guess!

What will Lucid do with the lease returns?

So may not be any lease end deals to have. If the value is less than residual (seems likely), and BofA owns the cars and got half the delta from lucid, they only lose half the delta. This gives them far greater chance to sell at auction since lucid paid for half the delta (and be able to get...

5.0 miles/kWh: Say Hello to the World's Most Efficient Car

Sweet keeping making upgrades so I can buy my pure for 40k at the end of my 18 month lease. Hehe.

    Lucid in Accident

That being said, I probably am trading a bmw for it (or selling it I should say). Not sure if it will be to keep the air or to get the gravity. Time will tell.

    Lucid in Accident

Lol so defensive. I was referring to emergency braking not the car as a whole. And that’s also your opinion that lucid is way better in every other regard. I don’t think that’s true. Sure the air is a great car but interior and electronics wise and material quality doesn’t match modern bmw or...

One week and love my Lucid Air Pure!

3.5k miles pure stealth here. Love the car overall. Lots of compliments. Starting to see a lucid at least 1-2 a week around here in boston! Great stuff.

    Lucid in Accident

Emergency braking only applies when I don’t want it to. Has happened twice in past week and it’s annoying! Once backing up on a cross traffic alert. Second time going forward in parking lot on cross traffic alert. The reverse was false, nothing was in my way it took my other car in my driveway...

    July 2024 Lucid Lease Deals

Thank you. Yea I’m paying $550. My rent charge is only $2200 or so if I recall. So my point is, compared to April of this year the deals are about the same. They just increased the rent charge (money factor).

    MA Property tax on lease

Got ya! Glad they made it right. Don’t pay the tax twice! I always forget about property tax then when I get the bill it’s like damn. Leasing wise if you want to lower the bill as much as you can buying late in the year makes sense. Every year it gets much lower and having to only pay a few...

    MA Property tax on lease

What’s not right? This is always how leases work. The leasing company never pays the property tax for a vehicle, you always do. Are you sure you’ve never paid excise tax on a lease? It’s how it always has worked…

    July 2024 Lucid Lease Deals

Only thing that makes sense is the “rent charge” is a lot higher now… in which case these credits mean the lease deals aren’t better than they were before. They are still very good but not better. Am I right? Or am I missing something here

    July 2024 Lucid Lease Deals

Got it. Thank you. Anyone know what Lucia is using for residual on the cars at the current lease rates? I still dont get it. I am paying $550 a month on a pure 2024 for a car with a 74.5k msrp and put $1200 down including first months payment. I “only” got the 5k on site and referral credit...

What is put x$ down on downpayment mean? Is that included in your total lease costs?

Air credit if 3750 is now active

Ok so I didn’t include taxes and fees. With that it’s about $100 more than my deal I guess. You are right, not as good but still pretty good for a car with this msrp.

Air credit if 3750 is now active

This is what I’m seeing. Notice the cash due at signing is 5881. That’s almost completely covered by the 5750 on site credit and 750 referral. I pay $550 a month and owed $1500 down. So $1500 / 18 months is an extra $83. 631-83= $547 a month. Identical to my order.

Air credit if 3750 is now active

Now seeing much lower lease payments, comparable to what I pay. Good deals out there
