We first need to finish our building there the assembling station is going. We are building it right now and hope to have it ready for summer.

It's carbon fiber except for the small part over the nuts. That one will likely be moulded composite.

Not on the Lucid but here are the prototypes on a Model 3.

We can do a deal where you don't pay until you know they fit. But are there winter wheel options from Lucid? I can look at the specs of those in that case.

He did not have the brake on Lucid. Anyone tried the Tesla 19" Slipstream?

I am checking with the factory if the 19" works. They have access to drawings of brakes. Our 21" are staggered and fit the OEM tires. Front wheels are the same width, back wheels are 9" (Lucid use 9,5") but the tire still works.

I am unsure about the size of the lucid center cap. Do you have one you can measure?

The new design will be launched in 20" yes. But not the existing Razor design.

I think this graph from the Tesla website back in 2013 says a lot. It is a breakdown of all frictions and power consumers. The dominating ones are tire friction, which is constant with speed and aero drag which is increasing with the square of the speed. Double speed, 4x aero drag.

Not having read the whole thread I want to add that wheels can generate a lot of noise if they are very open and/or with aggressive offset. But if they are OE it’s probably the seal

The 19” is cast but still directional. It’s 31 lbs. Maybe if you opt for a really light tire. Oddly there is no record of how much tires weight even if they are the furthest from the center of rotation and thus the most important weight if you want that acceleration 1/10s

Since they are a covered wheel design they will never be as light as a spoked design. But they are 34,5 lbs compared to I know many people are very into light wheels but for EVs the aerodynamics are much more important. Aero can make a differente in range of 5+% but weight can save 0,1 s in...

Ok, I can not say if they clear the brake calipers. What we can do is I ship them first, and you try them. If they fit we process the payment. If not we return them. Our 19x8,5" for Model S is the one we should try. Tires 245/45-19. We have Satin black and dark silver colored.

The 21" aftermarket wheels for Tesla Model S 2012-2020 works. Probably the 19" also. We are willing to sell a set with discount to test this. This is the 21". But we have 19" in the same design.

(old) Tesla Model S spec aftermarket wheels works. Ours for example.

We had a scale from A to G and now it's changed to A to E. From 7 to 5 levels it seems but it is actually from 6 to 5, because in the old system the letter D was only the centerline which could not be achieved making it a bit misleading since a C and E tire could be almost the same.
