    Gravity Testing!

The "S" in SUV once stood for ...well...Sport! I see Tahoe, Rivian as DUVs--delivery/utility vehicle Just hoping Lucid doesn't fall into that hole, in the misguided attempt to be all things to a few people. No need to cross swords--at least until they actually reveal what's behind the...

    Gravity Testing!

But if (big "if") you're right, will it look like a bakery truck (Tahoe, Rivian, et.al)? If so, I'm not a buyer...and would it then really be in the SUV segment (where L desperately needs to be)? Rhetorical design and marketing questions popping up at a challenging time for high-end EVs

    Some questions about Native Nav

I often turn on Nav on a route I know well, just to see how far I am from an exit, etc and also to check on traffic---on my Touring I note the following 1) The typeface (e.g street names) is ridiculously tiny--and even if you Zoom in, the font stays tiny. I've never seen this on any other...

    Post Realistic Mileage Here….

I'm of two minds on this: Subjectively, I dislike long road trips with hours of cruise control and barely turning the wheel. If there's a flight instead i'll take it every time. So honestly, I didn't buy the car for the EPA range, which (thanks to this site) I know from the beginning was a...

    Best reactions to your Air

My wife is anything but a car person (tho every time we've test-driven new cars for her, she's opted for the biggest engine). So she has indulged my Lucid "preoccupation" with a combo of boredom and patience ("yawn"). Yesterday I drove her to O'Hare, and at a stoplight sat a Lucid (in our...

    Lucid Production

If Tesla makes it's charging widely available to third parties (albeit at a premium cost) I'd say Lucid played this the right way

RESOLVED Pilot panel is down, blank and frozen!

Best summary yet--Thx---(succinct enough to tattoo it on my forearm!)

    Post Realistic Mileage Here….

Very similar: Touring; 20s; cool climate; smooth. 3.0 is disappointing, but then again the EPA #s are a total fiction. EPA posts figure in then first place to help consumers make buy decisions. Why their efficiency figures are uniformly overstated can be debated, and I won't debate politics here.

    Gravity Testing!

I'm going to disagree (I'm prepare for the slings and arrows): I think they'd be nuts to design G with a goal of seating 6-7 adults (with bags?) comfortably ---how much demand is there? I'd gamble that 90% of buyers who require a third row need it as a last resort, and if they use it regularly...

    Gravity Testing!

We had one once and I remember it fondly But re. 7+ adults AND their bags, you're into Suburban territory....no way Gravity gets there

    No Audio

This happens persistently (btw, I took delivery 4/1 too) The car defaults to the Home screen when parked, but it's often no longer playing Audio/Music when I wake it. If I touch the "button" with two musical notes on right cockpit screen, in a few seconds audio comes back. My first thought was...

    Gravity Testing!

I get your point (and I have 9 g-kids). But I'm still hoping they'll deliver a Gravity that's as viscerally/emotionally appealing as the Air (given the SUV genre)...to some, BMW and LR have done so. I won't buy an ungainly Gravity, and if L produces one I'll be disappointed. I'd even look at...

    Gravity Testing!

That's actually a Cayenne, which I think is among the most appealing-looking SUVs (I just parted with mine to buy the AT)...now if Lucid can somehow get the Gravity roofline to slope gently downward as it reaches the tailgate.... I know they want a third row, and the earlier rendition looks...

    Gravity Testing!

The Lucid from this angle looks very much like the Cayenne---also a good thing-- IMO (and cousin of the id4)
