I got ours done at Accutint NW Shoreline. If you have the glass roof, it does radiate heat even in our summers. The factory tint notwithstanding.

I’ve done that a couple of times. It’s frustrating because the app on my wife’s iPhone with the exact same settings does show the notifications. I’m at a complete loss. Doesn’t affect the mobile key operations in any way but it’s an irritant.

My opinion, absolutely get the tint. Even here in Seattle on a sunny summer day I can feel the heat radiating down and that’s after I got everything tinted. Must be worse in Florida or Texas for sure.

My question was more about the effectiveness of socks vs chains. But on a general note have you driven through the passes after snowfall like we’ve had recently? Have been thinking of driving to LA but hesitant because of the mountain sections of I-5 in Or and Ca.

My Homelink works but it takes 2-3 steps to access the icon to open or close the garage door. So I use a TFTT Applet linked to MyQ called 'Close Car Garage Door' created by rwilcox4291. I say "Alexa Trigger Close Garage Door" and the applet is activated to close the door. Works well

Not to mention heat from the summer sun. It’s real. Tinting helps but it’s not a perfect cure.
