Cool new key fob for Gravity... hopefully for Air too? (pics)

Posted more about this over in the Gravity forum, but here's a few (too many) pictures of the production key fob for the Gravity... SO much nicer than the current Air fob. 4 buttons, whole thing is combination of metal and plastic, i got to hold it (in the bag) and it's significantly heftier...

3 Gravities at Milbrae Studio: 2 "VIP customer cars" being prepped for delivery!

The windows did strike me as tinted super dark. Seems like it would not be legal in California, but not sure.

3 Gravities at Milbrae Studio: 2 "VIP customer cars" being prepped for delivery!

That’s the preproduction one on showroom floor in the background. Pics of that one, if interested.

3 Gravities at Milbrae Studio: 2 "VIP customer cars" being prepped for delivery!

The new keyfob!!! SO needed to go along with the luxury image. PLEASE let this come to the Air as well. Feels really nice, pretty heavy. They wouldn't take it out of the sealed package for me...

3 Gravities at Milbrae Studio: 2 "VIP customer cars" being prepped for delivery!

Hard to see what this is, and probably a little thing no one cars about, but a sales guy came over and pointed it out, saying it was a recent change. It's a little "radar" type symbol on the B pillar that shows you where to put the keycard. meh. but posted for completeness in what i saw. Was...

3 Gravities at Milbrae Studio: 2 "VIP customer cars" being prepped for delivery!

I'm not sure about that... maybe they are. The service guy just said they're soon-to-be delivered, and that they were paying customers, not press.

3 Gravities at Milbrae Studio: 2 "VIP customer cars" being prepped for delivery!

It looks more like gray to me, but it's faint blue.

3 Gravities at Milbrae Studio: 2 "VIP customer cars" being prepped for delivery!

I didn't realize that the first customer cars are actually now being delivered. I had my Air in for service at Milbrae yesterday, and they had one of the pre-production Gravity on the showroom, but saw another one in the prep area. Asked about it, and my service guy let me check it out (not...

Disappointing color choices - where's Zenith Red?

One more reason for me to wait a while on a Gravity order. Given the history, I'm definitely going to wait and not get an early production Gravity. Too many likely issues on a new model like this. So that makes 4 reasons to wait for 2nd or 3rd year... 1) get the bugs worked out; 2) benefit...

    Error Message: Door Failure

Huh! Mine has just gone away as well. Thanks for the voodoo you sent my way

Disappointing color choices - where's Zenith Red?

Gotta say I'm disappointed in the colors offered right now. I sure hope it expands, but given that "Lunar Titanium" is next up and already showing as "Late Availability", there definitely won't be other choices in the near future. REALLY wanted Zenith Red. Just love the color on my Zenith Red...

    Error Message: Door Failure

Anyone seen this one?? Weird thing is that all 4 doors are working perfectly fine. open and close smoothly, the soft-close retraction works great, and when closed, there's no "door ajar" warning light on the dash. No extra wind noise, no visible misalignment or gap. This message just appeared...

So what's going to happen with the "bridge" leases that were offered on Air while awaiting delivery of a new Gravity?

I suppose it's possible that SOMEONE who got their 18 month bridge lease when it was first offered in September 2023 just might barely take delivery of a Gravity when the lease ends in February 2025, assuming their order is in, they want the highest spec Gravity, etc. It's partly a guess as to...

So what's going to happen with the "bridge" leases that were offered on Air while awaiting delivery of a new Gravity?

I got one of the short term (18-month) subsidized leases that Lucid called the "bridge" lease, intended to get us into an Air while we waited to get a Gravity. It sure seems that we won't get a Gravity now before the leases are up. Anyone hear anything about what Lucid is planning to do for...

    RESOLVED Frunk Issue

Weird, I had this exact same thing happen today... maybe it is heat related as it has been quite hot today. Like you, the long plastic trim piece that goes across the front right under the funk opening came loose on the driver's side and blocked the remote opening frunk. Didn't know what was...

    Insane residual on a 2024 LAT @ 18 month lease: 86%

Same here - My Touring residual is somehow $79,170... great for my lease payments, but there's no way it will be worth that after 3 years and with 11,350 miles on it. Will be interesting to see what Lucid plans to do to avoid a sh*t-ton of Airs coming back to them in about a year from now...
