Took delivery 2 days ago and several issues

That sound seems normal to me. A/C spooling up. It can be really noisy.

Savage Geese: Long term Air review

For those disappointed or desiring a new processor, could you even quantify the necessary decrease in processing times for you to perceive it as responsive? If we are talking more than 5%, I highly doubt what is likely a single threaded bound task will be improved by a new CPU. You might see a...

Should I get metal roof and also DDPro?

Or go for a Demonstrator GT car. The ones I've seen and been in appear to be well maintained and abuse minimized. Only used car I would consider, but I would definitely check it out in person first. Loaners on the other hand... I don't know what people do to them, but the last one was heavily...

    HOT CCS cable handle

Normal. That sounds like a typical charging curve at the end as well. Hard to be 100% sure of the number, but it is within the ballpark.

Are you planning to get another Lucid?

We are on our 2nd Lucid. I am eyeing the glorious Sapphire, but what I really want is a coupe/roadster. We are looking at the Gravity too as our utility vehicle.

5.0 miles/kWh: Say Hello to the World's Most Efficient Car

This is a scenario where the computing power is likely already there for all the promised features. Engineers rarely utilize 100% of the hardware available in an efficient manner. This is an industry wide problem from my experience due to things not relevant to this thread. Hardware made an...

    2024 GT or 2022 GTP

Not sure how you found another new GT-P from Lucid. I thought ours was the very last of the 22'. We owned a 23' GT for 9 months that I base this post on. The heat pump primarily helps with charging, and I am not sure if anyone knows if there is or is not a heat pump in the GT-P. The horsepower...

5.0 miles/kWh: Say Hello to the World's Most Efficient Car

Less batteries means less voltage and therefore slower charging speeds. Not sure if this counterbalanced with the efficiency for the same range in the same time. This is outside my expertise. Believe the Touring and Pure AWD have a 92kwh battery, so this makes the increase in efficiency even...

    Possible heat-related charging issue?

I see derating from an Electrify America charger today at 93°F of about 25kwh around 11-12% state of charge (<275 vs 300+). This has continued through to 40%, and I expect will continue until I leave (steady 25-30+kwh). No issues reported at the site for this charger. Only doing a quick charge...

    Possible heat-related charging issue?

No replication on an EVGO in Atlanta today. It was not quite as hot as the day I had issues (98-100+), and the curve was normal. Have you tried a different brand? Temps haven't been high enough to see replication when charging at an Electrify America.

    Lucid in Accident

Most of the damage was caused by the folks who rear ended us at 25+ mph. In regards to the original post, I would expect a relatively high speed, brakes locked collision to the car in front to get underneath like that.

    Lucid in Accident

This is not in our new one to clarify. This accident was back in November. Emergency braking worked perfectly and faster than my reflexes over a blind hill. Our rear windshield did crack from the folks who rear ended us. Otherwise, you could have chopped off the front and the back with no...

    Lucid in Accident

Two occurrences does not make it definitive, but we were pushed underneath the car in front of us in our accident. Hit the people in front of us at 10-11mph according to the data then got plastered from behind at some unknown speed. My guess from stopping distance is well over 25+ mph...

    Bike Mounts and Crossbars

I believe the answer is just that. Lucid strongly advises putting weight on the glass through suction cup mounts. A single bike will fit comfortably in the rear, mountain or road. Two mountain bikes will not fit unless storing a wheel in the frunk or rear of the car. Storage of a bike greatly...

    Speculation Lucid's Q1 2024 Results Analysis

Excellent news. Tooling the lines for Gravity maybe. There were at least a hundred at the Roswell Service Center, so maybe they have figured out transportation to the different Lucid centers across the country to keep cars out of the Arizona heat for as little as possible.

ICE-ing is infuriating and awesome Tesla surprise..

This doesn't seem right. You cannot unplug the charger from the car if it is locked. At least, I have never been able to.

ICE-ing is infuriating and awesome Tesla surprise..

There is the "regular" plug Lucid provides then this one. I bought this adaptor with zero issues. Not sure what the plug is called other than a 3 prong 220-240v plug. There is a female end for the Lucid one to hook into. I know some folks may question doing this, but it is reserved for...

ICE-ing is infuriating and awesome Tesla surprise..

Your post is the first time seeing this in Alabama. I am uncertain of the ability to get the vehicle towed if blocking and need to charge. Such regulations may be behind in the state, but don't quote me on this. Finding a station and it working in Alabama has improved though still a journey of...

    Been an odd day

I ran into the issue where the car would not lock when the door handles were pushed. Turned off Bluetooth and Lucid app. No dice. Wife was far away in the store, so there was no interference on that end. I scrubbed the car for a forgotten fob, but there was nothing. Gave up after walking the...
