I think you are just taking an extreme negative view on this =) Also, paying for the downgrade is better than keeping an extra set of wheels laying around IMO. I already have a set of 21" DE wheels sitting in my garage haha

At least there is some more choice this time around. I don't really consider it a dick move. I did not pick the largest wheels and am fine with paying the all in price. 🤷‍♂️

I would say you are making a mistake. The difference between the Gravity and the Rivian as a asphalt warrior is night and day. Off road, different story. R1S was a HUGE letdown by comparison for me at least.

Maybe, but from the outset of Gravity being announced, I had hoped/expectd there would be a Dream Edition. I was sad to only see the GT/Touring announced officially, but now I'm happy to see the DE being offered as it's what I was hoping for the whole time.
