Several Days to Program a Key Fob?

So, I probably just need to share here. When my car got delivered it had a single key fob. They tried to quickly program another one, but after an hour accepted that wasn't going to happen. No problem, I'll just bring it back another time. Well, that other time came on Thursday (a bit more...

    Consumer Reports Reliabilty Rankings

I saw that rating just after I bought, and I have to admit, it might have changed my mind. The hopeful side of me chalked it up to various software gremlins more than ongoing hardware problems, and a small sample size, but time will tell. At the very least, it's not the sort of publicity Lucid...

Collision. Bumper, left fender and AC compressor damage. Got $29k quote from Bed-red Auto in Bellevue.

I admit, in my enthusiasm for something new and different, I didn't really take on board what I was getting myself into here. It does make me hope/pray I don't run into anything. But of course accidents do happen, and it's going to be this way with Lucid for a long time yet, even if things go...

    OTHER Winter Range Mega thread.

25 Air Pure - so far I am getting about 2.5 around town (mostly short drives) with temps in the 20s and 30s. One thing I am noticing is that kind of like an ICE car, short trips lead to lousy efficiency. Over 700 miles of mixed driving in cold (20s - 40s) temps, I am getting about 3.2 as my...

    DMV Lucid Owners

I'd be interested. I actually saw another Lucid this morning out here in the western suburbs. I honked at him because I couldn't help myself. If that was one of you, hello!

Really, really favorable review of Hey, Lucid...

I have actually found it more useful than I thought... things it does pretty well that surprise me include answering questions about how to use the car (it knows the manual). It also does a pretty good job getting directions and finding things. That said, I turned of the "listening" feature...

iOS 2.10 is in the App Store

Yes. Nice that is fixed, and the details of what I'm subscribed to are now clear.

Does your AM/FM radio work reliably? Mine does not

I had radio/sirius/Apple Music all get flaky on me today twice - they either would play a couple of seconds of audio ever 10 seconds or so or just not work at all. I did a soft reset and now everything is working again. So strange.

Weird - Lane Departure Protection Suddenly Disabled

That makes sense to me. Both times it has been late in the day and we also have snow on the ground here - making me wonder if it was a camera getting confused by light and dark not where it thinks they should be. I’ll see if it keeps cropping up…

    Touchscreen sensitivity is very poor

This is fascinating. I had noticed that getting the garage door to go up via the touchscreen was fiddly... but I figured it was just me, because like others I have generally found the system to work easily enough for other things. I wonder if it was a design choice of some type, or just a...

Weird - Lane Departure Protection Suddenly Disabled

It was the yellow symbol, so not the same as what you saw. To add to the fun, tonight my collision warning fault light came on. It didn't reset with a soft restart, but did clear after I turned the system off for a few minutes and then turned it back on. Weeee, software/hardware fun!

Out Of Spec Lucid Air ADAS Review--Not great, Bob.

Absolutely, I don't disagree with anything you say. For me right now, even the best ADAS system (Tesla) still isn't good enough to make a car purchase around.

Out Of Spec Lucid Air ADAS Review--Not great, Bob.

I get that, but ADAS that still requires my full attention, while tempting me to think it doesn't because it's "so good" 99 percent of the time isn't worth it to me - and frankly seems pretty dangerous. I might as well drive. But hey, that's me.

Weird - Lane Departure Protection Suddenly Disabled

So this evening I was taking my kids home from piano lessons and when I got in the car, I noticed that the Lane Departure Protection fault/disabled light was on. It didn't clear as I drove. I switched it on and off in the dream drive settings screen on the pilot panel, but that didn't change...

Out Of Spec Lucid Air ADAS Review--Not great, Bob.

I am trying to wrap my head around the whole thing. Tesla is clearly the best system at this point, and yet, when I was car shopping and watching lots of video reviews etc. by people who loved Tesla's FSD, it would seem like it would always almost kill them at some point during their road-trip...

Major technology challenges from App, to Car Play, to Dream Drive Pro - can someone please help

Have you connected your car to your home wifi network? This seemed to block my app from connecting to my car (which might have been because the wifi connection wasn't great). I took my car off the home network and while it's sometimes not fast, it does connect to the car now much more reliably.

What are the actual differences between "Smooth," "Swift" and "Sprint" for the Air Pure

Does anyone know in concrete terms what the different driving modes mean for an Air Pure? I mostly drive in smooth, and can't tell much of a difference in Swift. Putting it in Sprint does seem to make it quicker when I launch it, but I am interested in knowing what the real differences are...

    Disable side-mirror auto-fold

I'd like that too... I also need to keep them folded until I get my car out of my garage, so it would be nice to have more control over their folding behavior.
