I ordered about a week before you. From the tracker, it looks like folks in the weeks just before me are starting to get VINs now so I’m expecting we’ll both hear something within the next month
Agree. The C8 3LT interior is very well done. I was disappointed that they dropped the “Morello Red Dipped” option for ‘23 as that was my favorite color.
I have a ‘22 C8 HTC Z51 (and a ‘23 on order to replace it). I don’t have my AGT yet but honestly never even thought of them as comparable in any way. Different vehicles for different purposes.
They won’t. Some manufacturers actually charge extra above and beyond the destination fee if you pick it up at the factory because it’s extra work for them. Chevrolet does this if you select “museum delivery” adjacent to the factory for a new Corvette. It’s $995 extra.
It was 6K when I bought it and I thought it was iffy on value at that point. I’m in the beta and while it impressive software, I don’t think I could pay 12k for it. I don’t think the prices will stick.
Well that’s discouraging to hear since I confirmed after you. I’m guessing that of the three cars I have on order (Air GT, Lyriq, 2023 Corvette) that the Air is gonna be the last to show up.
I confirmed in late May and at the time was given the standard 2-5 month delivery window but my SA said realistically to expect it to be more like 3-6 months.
I’m not terribly concerned about the rocks and the glass. I have a Tesla Model X with a similarly large windshield and haven’t had...
If you’ve already confirmed your order, you’re grandfathered under the old tax credit. You might also trying contacting your DA and tell him you’ll accept a cancellation should one become available.
Some of my cars have garment hooks but I stopped using them a long time ago. I wear suits all the time and just do the shoulder into shoulder, fold in half thing then lay it on the seat. Same way I pack them for trips and have never had a wrinkled coat.
I don’t have my Lucid yet but I’ve had my share of windshield chips and bullseyes on other vehicles. I’ve had good luck with this DIY repair kit:
https://www.rainx.com/product/rain-x-windshield-repair-kit/
Works just as well as the safelite repair (which I’ve had done in the past). I use it...
I think there was one this week if you scroll back a few pages. Not sure if it was a cancellation though. I’m sure we’ll see a whole bunch all at once when the next batch of reds starts production
I’ll venture a guess that it will be a higher trim variant that includes the individual reclining seats that were shown early on but have never actually been available
