Anyone know the answer to this one? Hint: it’s five letters and starts with L.

    Highway Assist Lane Centering

I think we have finally reached clarity. This option, proposed by @borski, who prefers “classic” UX, would 100% satisfy me. I could set the option once and have the “Tesla” behavior that I prefer become my default.

    Highway Assist Lane Centering

That is exactly the way I feel. I ended up without DDPro, although I assumed that all DD systems would include lane centering, which is available at low or no-cost for most models. I assumed DDPro would be a long haul, having experienced Tesla’s wobbly ramp-up on EAP. But I already prefer the...

    Real Life Range

I haven’t charged to 100% - like ever - but after ten months and low mileage, I’m still at a calculated 435 miles, give or take. Never understood how that was possible either, but at least I’ve had no apparent degradation either. My 2016 Model X lost 5% in its first year, by comparison.

So I sat in the back seat…

So our Lucid AT is mostly driven during the week by my wife and, on the weekends, when we’re together, I play chauffeur. So I have all the usual impressions of the Lucid as a driving machine: comfortable, smooth (and not just the regen), and powerful. But yesterday, we went out to dinner and...

    Release Version Megathread

I updated to 2.1.18 and 2.1.20 within 24 hours. I am happy to report that my ”Non-Spotify Music skip on voice nav” bug has been fixed. Other than Android Auto, this was my biggest daily complaint because I usually use native Nav and always have Amazon Music playing, so the frequency of not being...

    Gravity or Model X?

Our December 2016 Model X shares those issues and I would only add that Tesla is pretty bad at supporting legacy (eg. 5+ years) vehicles, particularly the lower volume X and S. Lucid, of course, doesn’t have that track record, but I’ve been happier with Lucid service than I am with Tesla service...

    Release Version Megathread

Yeah, I know I’m supposed to install each update. But 2.1.10 took 5+ hours to install, so I’m a little more trigger-shy now. And this one looks like it’s a trivial install if you’re not using Spotify. Anyway, there’s a more specific discussion in the 2.1.18 thread.

    Release Version Megathread

I have the nav/music bug in which songs are unintentionally fast forwarded to the next in the playlist following a voice navigation instruction, even when nav volume is muted. Does 2.1.18 fix this issue? This is native UI with Amazon Music, not Spotify. Thanks in advance for any info. I have...

    EV Tax credit question

I checked the instructions about the transition rule on the IRS site, then used tax software that asked principally for the VIN number, submitted my 2022 amended return and ~four months later received my refund. Not an accountant or attorney. YMMV.

    GPS interrupts Music app

This bug forces me to turn off nav as soon as I am in familiar territory. Because Android Auto is not available, I don’t have a workaround for it other than to either not listen to any audio channel or rely on my rusty navigation instincts. Perhaps I’ll learn to use paper maps again.

Anyone else getting better than EPA for rated 100% (not actual!)

Right. You're calculations are correct. But my screenshot shows 268 miles remaining.

Anyone else getting better than EPA for rated 100% (not actual!)

92 x 0.61 *425? That can’t be. Regardless, only a few people have replied, so maybe it’s time to let the thread die a natural death. I should just be happy with my extra estimated remaining miles that I did nothing to deserve. :)

Anyone else getting better than EPA for rated 100% (not actual!)

When you compare your estimated miles remaining with the battery percentage remaining, you should come up with the EPA rated 425 miles range, if you have an Air Touring with 19” wheels. So, in the two attachments, one shows miles remaining and the other battery percentage. So 268 / 0.61 =...

Anyone else getting better than EPA for rated 100% (not actual!)

Neither have I. It’s that my rated range used for calculations of miles remaining seems to be a number higher than the EPA range estimate, which is impossible, of course, to actually get except for going downhill a lot. I’m just wondering why my 100% seems to 433-438 miles.

Anyone else getting better than EPA for rated 100% (not actual!)

After 2000 miles, my rated 100% range is always above the 425 for an AT with 19” wheels. In fact, regardless of whether I am at 90% charge or 30%, I will arrive at a non-official rated range of between 433 or 438 miles. Of course, when I multiply miles/kWh by battery size, I get a projected...

OC Owners -where are you charging with EA last week and this week - I am finding virtually no working chargers in North and Central OC

I have waited at most 30-40 minutes at Irvine Spectrum, but the good news is that it tends to work without having to switch chargers (which I did on once). Fashion Island has EA stations that seem to work even better, particularly compared to the 350 stations at Spectrum. There are two other...
