@rgtichy It's super annoying, but right now the car(s) seem to default to PT until driven for some period of time. My DE-R has about 1,200 miles on it and it still happens EVERY time.

@YouAintTheHost I didn’t reset the car…it needed to go in for the windshield and steering wheel anyway, this just expedited the inevitable.

Well, I returned Friday night...I had performed the software upgrade remotely while away...Saturday morning routine is that I take the kids to EA station down the road, which is in Starbucks parking lot...dad gets coffee, twins get cake-pops. Car wouldn't charge. An hour on the phone with EA...

@rbbarry Yes. Full car, plus windshield protection, plus ceramic and carpet treatments inside. Total was $6900 in North Carolina.

@rbbarry it makes no difference! Mine was the first Lucid my shop did. You want someone that's great at applying the film...every car's template is unique...seek quality and experience with high end cars and you'll be fine.

@MoniputerLM I got the same thing yesterday, plus the 'eye' with a line through it, both were gone today.

@copper Nice write up. I have 4.5 year old twins (Riley and Roman)...they don't want to ride in any of our other cars. Ever time we get in it Roman says, "Do a Lightening McQueen Dad!" That's Cars Movie talk for FLOOR IT!

@hmp10 Yeah, putting it all together, we should be clear eyed that post-sale swaps are SUPER expensive - magnified by the distributed service model that LUCID employs until it gets to scale. They're having to tow my car from NC to Atlanta to replace the windshield...that's VERY expensive and...

@MPawelek 'better performing controls' was all I got. Mine is fine, other than when I go to control the volume on the right radial wheel I hit the 'stop/pause' button 80-90% of the time because that wheel is sticky/wound tight.

@hydbob the noise for me is worst around 60-65 MPH...at those higher speeds, which I may or may have personal experience with, it becomes (theoretically) indistinguishable from what's 'normal'.

Two things of note as I had a service technician out last week addressing my steering wheel 'creak' noises: 1. Lucid may be rolling out a new better performing steering wheel. Unclear if this is just for new builds. 2. Lucid is rolling out a newly designed windshield that is not yet released...

@bunnylebowski well said. My only beef two weeks in, and I have the Dream-Range, is that it’s TOO FAST…and this car is replacing my 991 Turbo S. I’m a unabashed LUCID fan-boy. The car is amazing and the team has been really good to me so far.

I think mine had 20 miles and 65% charge.

@zkhan2 I was just under $7K for full car PPF, window tint, windshield protective film and interior ceramic + carpet protection
