Oh, sh!t. I don't like this answer. And I don't have my key card with me!

When this happened to me, I asked if they could show me what to do, so if it happened again, I could take care of it myself. They essentially said "over my dead body." I mean, not in those words and they were nice about it.... but they definitely did not want owners doing anything of a sort.

As I understand it, just unplug the culprit and plug it back in. I'll clarify when I pick up the car.

Not that I know of. If EA P&C fails, the car's dash should notify you to authenticate via the Lucid app. I don't know how (or why you would want to) get that notification prompt in the app without a handshake failure between the car and the EA station.

Y car is still trying to update to 2.1.47, even though it has been running 2.1.47 for about a week. I have a ticket in to Lucid and have heard nothing back. Anyone else in an infinite loop?

Indeed it has! I wrote that about two months ago, and they just published it. I was hoping to have a chance to update, but it didn't happen.

Interesting, but I have used P&C at that location before without the app.... not saying that your point is invalid, but I think something is still a miss. Will find out soon enough as I plan on taking the car to see grandkids a few hundred miles away soon.

I have a new Plug & Charge issue and wondering if it related to EVgo's Autocharge or is it just random. I've used P&C loads on my car as I drive from SF to LA about once a month and use it on those drives. I also use it occasionally on EA DCFC around my home when the opportunity presents...

correct. Goes straight to a failed session screen, with a request to unplug and try again. But others have successfully charged using 2.1.47, so, I think this is the wrong thread to discuss this problem. I'll make a new post on the appropriate thread later this evening.

Welp, thanks for the reply. It would appear to be unrelated. Still wondering why my P&C is failing. I'll try again tomorrow at a different site.
