This is spot-on....and there is probably business risk either way: give buyers a date and disappoint them, vs telling them nothing and pi$$ing them off as so many are here. They've chosen the latter approach and are obviously monitoring cancelations and think the result is tolerable

Has anyone here ever listened to an earnings call? The Q&A is the last five minutes, and all the Qs come from bankers at the firms that did the IPO. If you're expecting "communication" an "cupholders" don't waste your time. A Q that is both highly relevant, and has a chance of getting asked...

Just guessing---but the episode of the guy here whose car "just up and died" (eg no breaks, etc) Something that serious might require disclosure the NTSB...this is, after all, a highly-regulated industry

Respectfully, the issue isn't whether they know their business better than you---the issue is whether they can execute in one of the most complex, cutthroat spaces in American business---the current conditions are what they are---and yes---the OEM who makes 3MM units a year gets the attention...
