Isn't that only with regards to the battery sourcing? If I interpreted the article correctly, the other factors of the IRA will still go into effect on Jan 1st. But then again, I'm no lawyer or tax expert 🤷🏻‍♂️

I called my DA again today and was told that there is a White/Santa Cruz with 19 inch wheels in Chicago that he could get to me by EOY. Funny, this was actually my original configuration before I saw the Tahoe in person so I can't say I'm disappointed. Now, I'm just awaiting the change...

I have no idea. First EV so I'm trying to figure it all out myself. Don't know what options there are to swap out to all season or winter tires for the 20s. Some people have mentioned the possibility of sensor recalibration if you change tires. Not sure how any of that works.

@moytoyx I also had a conversation with my DA today. My White/Tahoe is now slated for production in January. No VIN assignment for me yet though. He offered me a QG/SC or IB/T (I think), both with 19s. Kinda bummed he didn't offer me the white option that he offered you which I can only assume...

Looks like all exterior colors except for white have at least some VINs assigned for the Tahoe interior. I wonder if that’s being batched soon 🤷🏻‍♂️

Still no VIN as of this morning. I am lost hope for EOY delivery even if my AT is produced and waiting PDI, it clearly has not been assigned to me. In retrospect, maybe I should have stuck with the SC interior rather than switching to Tahoe. Who knew?

I'm in the same boat. Fully loaded SW/T. No VIN yet. Car shows in production on the dashboard since Saturday. No word from my DA yet.

Interestingly enough, the pickup location for me is showing as Tysons Corner rather than Short Hills even though I live in NJ. I'm assuming that will be updated closer to delivery time as my DA has verbally said that I would be picking up the car from the Short Hills studio.

According to my DA, the time to ship the car from PDI in Chicago to the studio in Short Hills is 24 hours. So it sounds like that shouldn't cause any major delays. I did tell him I'm willing to fly to Chicago if it means getting the car before Jan 1st.
