Ha! So true. The car IS tech-forward, however, Carplay is not. To clarify, my suggestion was to hire the CarPlay software team from Honda not the engineers for the Car :)

Good news: I got my CA carpool lane stickers today -- 60 days from mailing them in. Now I can get the COV fast-track. Apologies: Lots of recent whining from me in other posts about the car's software ... hopefully, it just growing pains. Feel free to ignore it!

Lucid's inability to release stable software is annoying at best and ridiculous at worst. Hire a team of developers from Toyota or Honda! If it were up to me, I'd cut the cord and sell it now—but that's partly because I can't go biking or skiing with the car, which was a key goal moving on...

We only have one car with CarPlay. Lucid is resetting the car and CarPlay now. Hoping for a stable state, but not terribly optimistic.

Yes, this works for a while. Eventually, we lose the connection.

Is anyone using the roof rack again? I know it was recalled or had significant problems, but I have to carry skies and bikes (not just one bike, which i can do already).

This is very frustrating. When I take it in, service just says “it’s software” and we can’t fix it. But clearly it’s not just software, it’s specific configurations that work and don’t work. I think this is a place where an escalation to a higher level might result in configuration changes that...

We have also turned off car play. The latest release was supposed to improve it, but it's worse. It shows a lack of ability to Q/A software when they don't know that they are breaking more items than they are fixing. The car is an amazing ride/drive. My wife and I both love driving it...

Does anyone know if Lucid is selling more cars in Q1 at lower prices?

why do you think its a hardware issue? (just wondering). I would think it's an intermittent software bug -- may be interacting with some old version of embedded software on our car -- remember, it's 2022 -- but of course, I have no real idea ... lots of folks are reporting it here.
