It was a great event and a pleasure to see y'all!

My only concern is parking at the overlook where we meet before doing the scenic drive: it will be hell there around noon and there are only 20-25 parking spots. I know that because I live very close and tend to drive there on a weekly basis. Last Saturday I couldn’t even park there around 2 pm.

I don’t know much about these cars, but my impression is that one needs to know what they are doing in order to properly launch it. If that’s the case, maybe those guys don’t have much track experience?

Yeah, I had a relatively bad traction doing 0-60 pretty much every time. Considering getting a set of 21s.

Yeah, 19s are not great when it comes to traction on a track. I’m considering a separate set of 20s/21s.

True, it was my first drag strip racing ever. Honestly, looking through my rear view mirror, I thought those guys gave up midrace - the gap was that noticeable.

Took my 2022 GT to a drag strip a few days ago. Had a lot of fun! My best 1/4 mile time was 10.804 @ 128 mph.

I’m in Vegas. We do have tracks, but ideally I’d like to bring my car and so far I haven’t seen a single one of them to allow that.

Oh boy, I want to hear the “track-proven” part - I’m very interested in taking my car to a track and learn how to drive properly, but not sure where to start.

Does anyone plan to get a room at a hotel nearby and actually walk to the convention center? I imagine parking might be somewhat challenging and I see a few hotels within a mile from the event.

We had a home charger for many years, but I just wanted to mention how terrible (at least here in Vegas) the charging (non-Tesla) is. Today I went to test the DCFC again and this time I could finally do it… after 3 tries. The first site had 50% of its chargers out and 3 available were occupied...

Figured I could test DCFC and drove straight into not so uncommon EA experience: not single station was operational.

I need to wash it, but hey, who does that first thing in the morning when you can get into some spirited driving on empty Vegas roads first thing in the morning when everyone else’s in bed :)
