How many states has your Lucid been to?

I‘ve driven that route by charging to 100% at EA in Amarillo and then at EA in Denton. Reverse would work. There is a level 2 in Childress walking distance to Starbucks if you need just a little extra. 1700 Ave C NW, Childress, TX 79201, USA. There are 2 Tesla supercharger stations on that...

    Gravity Launch

I have never been a big SUV fan. I like cargo in the covered lockable bed vs in the cabin with me. The tires / rims on the Sierra are more suited to unimproved roads I occasionally drive. While I love road tripping the Air, going into areas with little to no DC charging, ICE vehicle is easier...

Time to put some specs into perspective

The R1S looks nice from the inside. Unfortunately you have to approach it from the outside to get in. 😂

Time to put some specs into perspective

We didn’t get to play with the software. It was mentioned that the Sapphire processor is over 5x the previous airs and the Gravity is 20x the Sapphire. The Gravity will definitely have features the current Airs will never see.

    Gravity Launch

That was a missed opportunity. We got there early and left for dinner right after we had a chance to get next to the vehicles.

    Gravity Launch

Was great to meet some of the forum members last night. The Gravity looks great in person. A very Lucid design. Anyone who loves the Air, but frequently wants to transport 6 or 7 people or is unhappy with the trunk opening, this is the vehicle for you. The front seats are more like the...

Can you top this Lucid Service Center 24-hour experience?

My experience with Lucid service has been great. They came by today to do check on wipers. Replaced worn air dams for front wheels. They made the repairs and did a check on the vehicle for any other issues. Friendly and very genuine in desire to fix any problem.

    Sapphire first road trip

Arrived in Frisco Tx. 3/4 EA chargers delivered well over 200kW with a high of 313kW. 1 EA limited to 75kW Used a EV Connect charger for the first time at a BMW dealership. Charger was ABB and delivered 163kW. After downloading EV Connect app I was able to start charging in less than a minute...

    Intermittent CarPlay audio output

I had similar issues on earlier releases. On iOS 17.1.1 and Lucid 2.1.35 CarPlay has been very stable and working as expected. I’m still waiting on 2.1.42

    Sapphire first road trip

Sapphire looks great even in flat light.

    Sapphire first road trip

I have both. The Sapphire can absolutely replace the DE as a daily driver. The value of the DE to me is higher than the market value for now.

    Sapphire first road trip

~80. Staying on upper end of traffic flow without being fastest car on the road.

    Sapphire first road trip

No cruise control, brisk acceleration when traffic clears, ~80 2.6 is about what I expected. That gets me a solid 300 miles. Will try the aero covers at some point to see how much is gained. Hit 313 kW at an EA station in Monroe, LA. Interstate 20 is not the wasteland of charging it...

    Sapphire first road trip

335 miles into road trip. Second EA charger. First location chargers limited to 75kW. At Mercedes plant welcome center, outside Tuscaloosa high was 292kW. Without the aero wheel covers getting 2.6 miles kWh. Comfort level no different that the DE.

Vote for your favorite Color and Discuss Why?

Sapphire is obviously #1. This voting is for 2nd place.

Gravity: to Reserve or Not to Reserve?

It seems like a tri motor version would be a Sapphire version. 1111 with 2 motors is plenty, says the guy with a Sapphire.😂

    Vehicle to Home

The above is very misleading. This topic has been discussed in more technical manner in https://lucidowners.com/threads/lucid-bi-directional-charging-as-a-home-power-source V2G is highly regulated. Vehicle supplying 240V or 120V for owner to use as they see fit is different.

    Metal vs Glass roof

I’m 6’2 and I have not noticed any difference in headroom between glass and metal roofs. I like the all glass roof, but also don’t miss it when I’m driving the metal roof. In general I think the metal roof is nice when the sun is overhead, and the glass is nice when it is not. Headroom...

Has anyone replaced tires on Lucid Air?

I’ll see if I can get information direct from Michelin. I got the 21s on my DE from Michelin and they know they are on a Lucid.
