Hey sorry I just tested Apple Music with Alexa and it says it’s not currently supported in this device :/ just Spotify, Tidal, and Amazon Music

So I started doing some research into the music quality on the Lucid Air and discovered something interesting. When using Tidal via the built-in application, the stream is limited to 320kbps. However, if you use Alexa to play the same song via Tidal, it seams to play at max quality > 1411kbps...

Its not that bad and OTA updates are easy. They got some big updates coming soon so hopefully it will be solid once you get yours.

Oh I think they know. But you know how it is. Pressure from investors to start delivering. Engineers usually end up getting screwed and have to make it “good enough” and fix it later. Same story at every company I’ve worked for. Especially startups.

The issue is the app, not the car. iOS has restrictions for background bluetooth services and you have to set it up just right to make it work. Apple Car Key support will resolve this. can't wait until they add it.

hmm I don't experience this with my Tesla. bluetooth is a pain to work with and unreliable. Luckily Lucid is working on Apple Car Key integration using the U1 chip.

100% agree. They had no customers for feedback when they started. Now the engineers say they are shifting to a feedback approach for improvements so they build what customers want instead of trying to guess or force their UX on people.

Lol nothing like that. They came out to check on my car after a repair and address a few other concerns I was having. Wasn’t expecting them to send the actual engineers this time.

From my understanding, there is a main system and the ADAS, infotainment, etc all run inside that system. So Android is being emulated inside that system. Now it will run on its own natively.

Yea I agree and I asked! Apparently they had issues with interference and decided to put it up there. I bet they could find another place. They are going to create a graphic with instructions on the pilot panel so that should help
