    Tire valve stem extensions

Just to be sure, you were pulling out that section of aero insert, right? It’s flexible and pops right out for access.

What topic are you most interested in for our next AMA?

Some people don’t want it, it is a good thing to them that they can avoid spending money on that extra hardware they will never use. Having options is a good thing. Educating yourself on the options you want out of a major purchase is also a good thing to do ahead of time. It’s all on the...

    Recall for Floormats…Unintended Acceleration

Sure, understood, just making sure that’s the same thing as the original post that some number of cars are being recalled vs a separate accessory.

    Hold vs Park Energy Consumption

Is it possible your HVAC just happened to turn off at the same time? I have never seem that change just from switching to park.

    Recall for Floormats…Unintended Acceleration

So it’s not a car recall, but a floor mat recall?

    Hey Lucid Location Services

I don't know that you can. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, for mysterious reasons. The setting it's referring to is not user-accessible.

    Hi from San Diego

For what it's worth even with the speaker TSC borski mentioned, the bass definitely is higher than before at 0,0,0. It took a little getting used to. But! Go for a drive and I think you'll see why. I turn down the bass a couple ticks with the EQ as well while just sitting in the car listening to...

    Not a winter car?

Not saying this is good, but maybe throw an electric blanket over the frunk for an hour if you need to change your washer fluid. For entirely unrelated reasons I do kind of wish there were a (close-able) airway between the frunk and the cabin like the ski pass-through to make it optionally a...

    Residual value DE vs GT

Air DEs were never available for lease, so I don’t think there is a direct answer. Judging by auction prices the depreciation wasn’t particularly different.

    Statute antenna

I’m sure you can, but nothing that would integrate with the native infotainment. There are many portable devices with SiriusXM you could hook up in the car and play via Bluetooth though.

Boost Pedal useless? I don't think so anymore.

This would be my #1 use for a programmable steering wheel button like in Gravity. A quick toggle to Sprint mode and back for passing. Hopefully that’s an option, and hopefully those fancy steering wheel controls come to other Lucids in the future.

    Charging At Home Question

    1. You didn’t mention which charger you have. Does your charger have J1772 or do you have an adapter for that? If so it should be fine. 2. You’ll certainly still be fine for an overnight charge. I don’t know which version of the S you have to compare specs, but I would expect the “miles/minute”...

Lucid Audio Experience AMA (March 11, 2025)

From @DeaneG who is outside and enjoying a peaceful break from the forum: ... based on your experiences with the highly accurate reproduction test setup vs. customer feedback about what they actually want to hear.

    Frequent pin requests

Nope. If you don’t have the fob with you it has nothing to do with the fob. Try fully unlinking your mobile key - delete it in the car and in your phone’s bluetooth settings - then set it back up.

    Audio Issues

The audio team is not the right team for this. They deal with sound system tuning, not media players / connectivity.

Yup, all of that should just work. Congrats on the new car!

    30 or 35 Amps on a 50 amp plug

Yes, the only problem I'm aware of is that Lucid, unlike other EVs, doesn't listen when an EVSE asks it to wake up. Either for a charge schedule like with Chargepoint, or if you had some kind of load balancing / sharing thing based on your solar production, sharing with another appliance, etc...

Lucid Air Pure - Multiple Warnings After Washing

That's not great. I'd bet that's water intrusion. It may be fine after drying out, but I'd still schedule service so they can fix some seals for you.

    30 or 35 Amps on a 50 amp plug

Right, the latter was my assumption here. 50A rated wire, 14-30 receptacle and 14-30 adapter for the Lucid mobile charger. Though that should be a 40A breaker for continuous load, right?
