That's what I'm doing, the full front end (hood, bumper and the quarter panels). Who knows, if I get the notion, I may do the rest of the car, but it kinda seems like overkill at the moment. Time will tell. ;)

Once Volvo worked out the initial bugs, they did a solid job on the app. I suspect it’ll be the same for the ex90 when that hits the street.

I’ll do that. It was really useful, for getting the most out of the car not to mention logging trips for work and stuff like that. It came in really helpful to see when the car was moved about when it was being serviced too, which was an issue once or twice.

I could believe that, more often than not for the vast majority of owners less information is a better solution. Just the pertinent info and leave the details to those that *really* want to dig into it

That’s one of the kind of things I’m hoping for in the car app. My previous car was a Volvo S60 PHEV and it had a driving journal in the app that would chronicle mileage and efficiency and the like. I’d love to see that with the Lucid.

That makes perfect sense. You're in Cali right? I'm out in VA and there electricity rates are pretty modest comparatively speaking. Out of curiosity, does the lucid charger offer a fair amount of metrics or is it pretty opaque in that respect?

I'm just looking for faster charging speeds at this point, although for my daily back and forth the ~40m/h I get with the 14-50 based charger will get the job done. My commute is pretty short over all. I'll keep my eye on the Lucid charger's capabilities as you suggested. 👍

Have you been pretty happy with the Lucid charger? I am considering picking one up, and upgrading to the 100 amp circuit.

That's definitely a legit reason to keep it unplugged. What kind of charger do you have?

I keep mine plugged in, only had it a couple of weeks, but no perceived ill effects. I did the same with my plug in hybrid before the lucid and that went without a hitch as well.

Since I've gotten my Lucid, it's put so many people in traction as they've broken their neck trying to figure out what it is lol. I've had people follow me around the parking lot. It's quite flattering and confirmation I picked the right car!! 😁

I'm sorry to hear that. Did the car not actually make it to town? Mine barely made it here, amongst other logistical issues.
