The eclipse "sunset" with Venus visible on the horizon.... and some beautifuly scenery we were able to sit and enjoy on the 7.5-hour trip home. Totally worth it!

A Total Eclipse from the Car!!!! (New England Spring Lucid Rally)

Got a spot with a prime western view of the eclipse just north of Colebrook. Not a cloud in the sky. DCFC to 80% for the trip home.

    Total Eclipse anyone ?

Yep, NH is leading from behind again. Here's the advice from local authorities:

    GM released v2h

Lucky you. I tend to lose it a couple times a year - usually only for a couple hours at a time. We have had some incredible ice storms, nor'easters, and such, which can end up with multiple-day outages due to winds, ice, and heavy snow. We've been fortunate with out-of-state utilities showing up...

Tesla to Lucid - Hello from DC

Congrats! I hope you get to drive it on the windy backroads and not just in Beltway traffic! I think your biggest problem is going to be keeping it to under 7,500 miles/year!

    Total Eclipse anyone ?

If all goes well, I'll hit my viewing spot at about 65%-69% and my plan is to charge up to about 80%-85% very early (in case there's a line), which should be more than enough for spending the day and then dealing with traffic or detours heading home. Good luck and happy viewing!

    GM released v2h

I had been wondering about the usefulness to me of the V2H capability as compared to an installed automatic transfer switch to a propane-powered generator if/when my current generator dies. When folks are looking to order/install the V2H, are they basically just trying to keep the fridge/freezer...

A Total Eclipse from the Car!!!! (New England Spring Lucid Rally)

It's looking up in NH also... fewer clouds. They're getting about 6" less snow than we're expecting at home....

A Total Eclipse from the Car!!!! (New England Spring Lucid Rally)

I checked out the area in Colebrook/Stewartstown NH (@115 miles from home), where there should be at least 3 minutes of Totality. I was pleasantly surprised to find a L2 ChargePoint and EV Connect in Gorham/Berlin that were working, and there was an EV Connect compatible DCFC 150 kW CCS at the...

Finding a working charging station, a nightmare!

I have been mapping my route to Stewartstown, NH, area on the Canadian border, which is about 155 miles from home heading up Rte 16. All things being equal, it should work if I charge to 100% that morning, The issue is that I'll be heading into the mountains, so not sure how badly that will...

New Touring owner in Southern NH

Welcome! I'm just north of Rochester, NH, and I hope you enjoy driving your Lucid as much as I do! I've had my GT since September 2022 after having two other EVs that didn't quite fit the bill. I've totally enjoyed learning about this car from "fellow aficionados" as the car has evolved. The...

A Total Eclipse from the Car!!!! (New England Spring Lucid Rally)

I'm hoping that some of the back roads that parallel the Spaulding Tpke in NH will get me home... as well as a nice stop for dinner or a break somewhere.

    New HV Battery

When I was notified (after a remote diagnostics was run before scheduling my car for an appointment for something else), I was told that they scaled from 1-5 for urgency, with 5 being immediate. Mine was a "2", but they wanted it taken care of proactively and I should have no problems with...

    Scheduled Charging Bug?

I have my charging scheduled to start at 11:00PM to 80%, and so far it has always started (start time can vary between 11:00PM and 11:25PM randomly). What I would like to see is a more customized charging selection: i.e. M-F and/or S-S charging (weekend charging is entirely at off-peak rates)...

Fisker Q4 report: ‘Substantial doubt’ it can continue, seeks investment from ‘large automaker’

I saw my first Fisker today at the EA in NH. Except for my charging experience, it was a comedy of errors. Someone in a Nissan was waiting for EA to troubleshoot a non-functioning CHAdeMO station, parked his car in a CCS space, and went into the Mall for lunch. The car was there when I arrived...

    Lucid Owner Feeling

I wouldn't say "snobby"; it's more like relief. I saw at least a dozen Model Y and Model 3s on my 3.5-hour trip from CT to NH today (in the rain). I just felt relief that I was no longer driving a Tesla and kicked back. Of course, whenever I saw one, I would call out "there's a bug!", got a...
