For those that got PPF installed.

Only the front - looks fine over the ceramic coat over the whole car. One word to the wise, be sure they cut out holes for the sensors. Upon application of the PPF, it will stick to the sensors and will not seem to be a problem. But, as the PPF cures, it tightens and lifts off the sensors and...

    "Mounted Object Detected" error

Mystery solved: It was the PPF that was installed without holes for the sensors. But that was not a problem initially and the story is interesting. The "Mounted Object Detected" reared up some weeks after PPF was installed so I didn't associate the problem with that. And I washed it and saw...

    Range Performance SF to LA

I got a few very nice, private comments, so I'd like to clarify a bit for everyone about what I experienced: a) the rate that the "miles remaining at destination" declines depends on the M/kw and all the other stuff. The rate of 1.27 miles for every actual mile traveled is at a standard 3.5...

    Range Performance SF to LA

On my last two trips over the grapevine, I evaluated this. First, the "miles remaining at destination" is simply the difference between the total miles remaining and the distance to the destination. It's simple and linear. Second, I recorded the "miles remaining at destination" at the start...

    Lucid is not alone

I admire that you were an early, early adopter and that your posts are so helpful. I think I probably would not have had such a good experience without you and others like you. THANKS

    Lucid is not alone

Making cars is a very, very complex business. I started out in GM, and maybe that's why I love my Lucid so much. I was worried about getting the first year of a new model because I know how complex a car is to design and manufacture. My Lucid is outstanding and exceeds my expectations daily.

    "Mounted Object Detected" error

Interesting...the plot perceptibly thickens. I will take the advice of you all, reset overnight (it is dark even here is CA now), and check that in the AM. Much appreciation to @hydbob , @Tâm, and you. Thanks

    "Mounted Object Detected" error

I got this system error, Mounted Object Detected, after installing 2.0.35. I thought it would go away after 2.0.36, but it did not. I see no mounted objects anywhere on the car. It does not seem to have any effect on the performance of anything. Has anyone else seen this?

    EA Megathread

At the new 350kW EA station, I note that it now says (and maybe did before) whether the car or the station is limiting the charge. Am I correct in thinking, as in the picture, the station may want to deliver more than my Lucid is willing to take? At places where we have reports of low kW, is the...

    EA Megathread

I reacted the same way to the forum, but I can see how the information is helpful, and I am grateful for the postings. Once, however, I did have a horror show at an EA installation, which is quite a frustrating experience. Seems to be getting better from my perspective, and so glad that it's...

    Lucid vs Mercedes/BMW not Tesla

Yes, and it can easily be recalled that Elon Musk has been sanctioned by the SEC for making wild and unsubstantiated statements.

    Lucid vs Mercedes/BMW not Tesla

I think Lucid is well on its way to success, and your post is spot on. BTW, I also had a Jaguar XJ that was luxurious and had fantastic driving dynamics. I like the Lucid even more than that.
