Im not sure what the proper word to describe this is. I’ve used creak and squeak but maybe there is a better word. I don’t know. All I know is that the steering wheel makes sounds when it’s used. Maybe I can try to get a video recording

Mine was replaced at the end of May. Are you thinking there is yet a newer/better one? How long have you had the new wheel? Cause initially after having mine replaced it didnt squeak either but then it came back

I got my car May 22 2023. My steering wheel was replaced about a week later. It was still "squeaky" though. About a month later service looked at it again. This time they removed steering wheel and added felt tape between back plate and steering wheel assembly. Unfortunately still squeaky today...

Update: Got my car back yesterday. As of now problem has been resolved. I cannot reproduce. They did many different things and also they discovered multiple other things that were addressed/fixed.

UPDATE: Service center has had my car for the past week. This is the 3rd time they have the car for this. On the drivers side they said they "re-seated" the window/glass and it appears to be "ok" now. On the passenger side they said they couldn't reproduce the problem so they didn't do anything...

Over the weekend window was getting stuck in open position. Had to use my hand to help pull window up (while holding down button) so as not to leave car unlocked car going back to service tomorrow

Service center tweaked the wheel a bit. Put some washers in it or something. Its better now, but still creaks a little. Mostly when making turns. Ironically, the loaner they gave me (which had less than 1k miles on it) creaked like crazy. Very bad. At this point looks like its something Im gonna...

Not sure how/why this thread was marked as “resolved”. It’s not resolved yet. But, once my car goes in again (next week I hope) and assuming it does get fixed , I will definitely post the outcome and any determined root cause here.

When rolling up window something is rubbing against glass. It leaves a vertical mark/line/smudge along the window. The mark can be rubbed off with a towel. My car has been in service twice for this. Both times they said it was fixed. But it comes back. Anyone dealing with this too? :)

Sorry to hear that. I was thinking of reaching out to my service center to see what else could be done. Not optimistic though.

I believe mine was built in March/2023. Replacing the entire wheel did the trick (completely silent). But havent had the car that long and dont know if it comes back over time.

My fob died on me today. Only had car for ~3 weeks! Lol I opened car with app and then was forced to put in PIN. So I learned a little about that element. I replaced the battery. Did notice that the battery doesnt sit that well within the fob. Not sure if that's related.
