    Regen vs State of charge

I also charged to 99% (tried for 100%) and regain worked immediately.

Does Anyone Have Regrets? (non-owner asking)

Someone has better data than I do but I seem to remember there is a significant drop in mileage from 80 to 85. Maybe 10%? And mine was at 85 all the time rather than stress testing if a few times. I really was pretty happy with mileage the way I drove the car. And again this is before the...

Does Anyone Have Regrets? (non-owner asking)

On my trip from Florida to CT, each leg indicated a 100% to 0% range of 350 miles to 400 miles, often at 85 mph. I'm going to find out how courageous I am on Thursday when I have a round trip to Philadelphia from Westport CT, a total of 315 miles, which includes 10 hours of idle time for the...

    Florida to Connecticut road trip

I had not contacted service once the reboot fixed the sound system issue. Good idea, I’ll do that. The Nav system is what it is for now. Guess it can’t hurt sending them a note on that as well. I have not tinted the car. I think if I was in Florida all year round, I might.

    Florida to Connecticut road trip

My brother in law and I made the 1300 mile road trip this weekend. The car only had 600 miles on it when we started so no “break in” period. We only stopped 4 times to charge (between 20 and 30 minutes each) plus an overnight slow charge at hotel just north of Richmond, where the reformatted...

    Received my Tesla Tap

Spent more time up north than I expected before going to collect the car. Will post observations of trip in a day or two when I get a few minutes.

    Received my Tesla Tap

Only for road trips for me and only when destination charger only has Tesla available (like last night just north of Richmond VA on way from Florida to CT! Glad I had it and had trimmed it to fit much better. I’m thinking really hot weather might cause the Tesla plug to expand just enough to...

Battery drain when unplugged for long periods

I always leave the car plugged in. Have gone 6 weeks being 1300 miles away. It will charge when I wake it up or maybe once a day for 5 minutes.

Or vice versa. Not sure which is which.

    Received my Tesla Tap

I’d say pretty much the entire circumference. Tough to say how much but spent over an hour filing and smoothing before it fit correctly. My advice is to test before you might have to use it and don’t force it. I’m lucky no one saw what I did to the Tesla destination charger.

Is Lucid Service starting to get overwhelmed?

Mobile Tech also visited me today in South Florida. No defective wiring issue. He shortened the wire and put a clip on it. Took 20 minutes. He said they had a ton (I said 100 and he sort of agreed) of cars to get PDI done.

    Received my Tesla Tap

I purchased an 80A a few months ago. Now that I’m planning on driving the car from Florida to Connecticut, I visited a Tesla destination charging location to make sure the TeslaTap would fit and work. Here’s the end result! The Tesla plug broke off! Took a bit of work to separate the Tesla...

Is Lucid Service starting to get overwhelmed?

That’s probably the best approach overall. I have the manager’s cell and have never called it (other than when we were dealing with an real issue) but don’t typically call the 800 number. But you are correct of course. That’s the best way to make sure the entire team knows there could be an...

Is Lucid Service starting to get overwhelmed?

I called the service center in Riviera Beach directly when the recall was announced and scheduled it for this week when I’m back in Florida. I had scheduled it for Thursday and they called today to ask if they can come to house tomorrow. I’m only 20 minutes from service center.

Standard regenerative braking in comfort drive mode

Coming from a Tesla, I found it easy to use the high regen going forward. It definitely took longer to get the hang of reverse!

315 is in Turtle Mode after 61 miles - first day

A service technician over my house said you really need to get out of the car for the reboot to work effectively - that the car knows you are still in the seat and never fully shuts down. But given everyone’s experience plus the car locking people in occasionally, I’d say he is likely wrong.

    ChargePoint Home Flex

Mine didn’t and I think I remember a thread where someone (maybe @Paladin732) had a suggestion. I searched the forum but couldn’t find it.

    ChargePoint Home Flex

Did anyone figure out where to get a cover for the 2 direct current plugs on the bottom of the Combined Charging System (CCS) Combo Type 1 (J1772) on the Lucid? Thanks.
