    Gravity 3.5.1

After a call to service center, I learned a couple things that may be helpful in case others have this issue with the window not closing/bumping the top and staying open: I tried the above and everything else I knew (reset windows w switch, reset car, deep reset of car, etc) and nothing was...

    Gravity 3.5.1

Well, a couple times I did that and went to close it and it wouldn't...like if I pushed the window might bend/break. I'm going to try Borski's advice tomorrow. Hope it works...

    Gravity 3.5.1

Anyone? Bueller? lol Just curious if others are having or have had this issue. It feels like hardware but mobile tech on phone says it's software and fix is coming. But I don't want to wait a month with a window that won't completely close only to find out the software didn't fix it...and then...

    Gravity Crossbars

Yeah, not difficult at all. Yes, still screws in...3 each side I think.

    Gravity 3.5.1

So I've been lucky with my Gravity as far as bugs/issues, so far. However, after using 3.5.1 for a week or two without any problems, suddenly my driver's side window is bouncing off the top every single time I try to close it. It will not stay closed. I can nudge it a bit at a time until it...

Gravity-Adding Crossbars and then Shower Tent/Awning

Ever evolving. Sharing in case anyone is considering something similar. This is the Yakima LocknLoad platform with their Crossbeam mounts. This is the smallest size "K" that is 55x49. It does make for some wind noise but I may play around with some solutions for that. I usually have music loud...

    Gravity Crossbars

Many mounts use t-slots to connect without the need for a roof rack. I may opt to get the Yakima LockNLoad platform as it will give me more options. But it's nice to know I could just use the Crossbars and directly screw a shower tent into it without any clamps.

Gravity-Adding Crossbars and then Shower Tent/Awning

And finally to wrap this up, they were pretty easy to install even solo/by myself. The instructions left out one thing: you have to remove the center screw at each of the 4 connection points in order to add the new screw. Other than that, pretty easy. Half hour job...though I took an hour being...

Gravity-Adding Crossbars and then Shower Tent/Awning

One more bit of info: Per manual, these new crossbars max load is 210 pounds versus 160 of the originals.

    Gravity Crossbars

I posted this in another thread but thought I'd update this one, as well. I received the new Lucid Crossbars today and was surprised to see that they are slotted. Very nice change to the originals and will give many more mounting options. I also see the weight "max load" was increased to 210...

Gravity-Adding Crossbars and then Shower Tent/Awning

An update: I received the new Crossbars today and guess what? The new Crossbars have t-slots! (See photo). This will definitely be nice for those of use looking for easy mounting solutions like I mentioned above. Now I have to figure out if I want to install myself or wait a week for mobile guy...

    Gravity 3.5.1

Used it today...worked perfectly to line my wheels up in the car wash. I also have used it a bunch on recent camping trips to avoid rocks and tree stumps as I maneuver the car into a decent camp spot. So yeah, edge use cases, but still useful for some.

Gravity-Adding Crossbars and then Shower Tent/Awning

Okay, I've never done any roof rack or any car top storage, so let me know if any advice from those who have or know more than me. I ordered the Crossbars (and btw, they shipped immediately despite website saying "coming in early 2026" so assume they are back in stock). My plan is to add a...

    Gravity 3.5.1

Yep...and Apple Music for those of us who have used it for years. Sorry, Tidal. ;-) The voice quality on calls still needs work, but seems to be getting better.

    Gravity Crossbars

Okay...thanks for letting me know. Simple clamp solutions out there so not a huge deal, but wish they made it a bit easier with these crossbars. ;-)

    Gravity Crossbars

To anyone who owns the crossbars, do they have a t-slot across the top for easy mounting of an awning? It's hard to tell in the photos and doesn't say it outright.

Tow Hitch - any reason not to leave it on full time?

You mean when not hitting my head on the open hatch? lol It's been happening a lot at camp sites now that I have the bike rack on there and I'm coming in from the sides. Oh well...sacrifices we make. ;-)

Tow Hitch - any reason not to leave it on full time?

I have the Quikrstuff rack on my hitch. I take the bike off and fold up the hitch but I plan on leaving it on all the time. Hope it doesn't cause issues...maybe I'll take it off once in a while just so no "stick" like Borski mentioned above.

    Lucid AI Demo

I guess it can make your life better when you are in your car. ;-) It would obviously have much more control over car functions that your phone doesn't have. If looking for a personal valet, virtual therapist or AI friend...then yeah, probably better to use other phone-based tools you can take...

New software update for Gravity - 3.5

Exactly. Apple Music will be awesome to finally have with onscreen controls. Messaging will be nice...Waze will be nice... I mean, if it's free, why would anyone complain about getting this? Just don't use it if you don't like it. But I agree the software based makers (T,R,L) probably would much...
