Almost Ready to Pull the Trigger. Any last-minute advice?

Go for it! As for snow, the Air is heavy enough (and weight is distributed) that RWD Pure with all-season tires will be better in snow than any RWD gas vehicle. Depending on your situation (region and driving needs in snow), it could be fine and dandy. (The sales and service folks at Natick...

massive loud knock from front left suspension

This is such a known issue that when I took my ‘25 Air Touring in for its 1-yr service, it was a standing TSC order for them to “torque the front sway bar end links to spec”—though I’d obviously heard of this issue on the forum, it hadn’t happened to me, so hadn’t asked them to check. (They also...

    HFDA reports

Yes, absolutely. And I do this too. Indeed, not having to focus as much on lane keeping and distance keeping, as others have noted, while using HFDA, I’m often able to more fully monitor what’s happening around me, especially cars approaching from behind and passing me (I tend to be content...

    HFDA reports

I’m really liking HFDA, feeling very comfortable with it. My main question/concern is one that has been mentioned in the thread above, but so far no one has really reported any experience with it, so I’ll reiterate and ask for a pointer if there’s another thread where it has been discussed...

    Apple Watch app working great

The phone app always works, though waking can be a little slow (30-45 sec?). The watch app always says unable to connect—I’ve presumed that’s because I have kept Wi-Fi off for the car, due to many suggestions here on the forum that having both Wi-Fi and cellular on can cause various snafus...

Fake Tire Pressure Alert on Lucid Air Touring

My guess is that the system is just set to trigger once it goes below 45. Yes, 49 is the target, but given the variation that can occur with ambient temperatures and driving, most people wouldn’t want to trigger an alert every time it drops to 48. My experience with other similar tire...

Unable To Place Order For Gravity (2027 Model Coming?)

OK, so some people love options and some people think many of the options should be standard! I’m curious about the OP’s actual question/experience: was the lack of an option ;) to actually submit an order (rather than just save a configuration) a temporary glitch in the system, or is...

    Rivian CEO w/Kara Swisher

Interested in comments/feedback on this hour with Rivian’s CEO. Seems like a solid strategy, albeit resting heavily on the success of their midsize, as with Lucid. Tempted to take a flier on a bit of Rivian stock, in the same spirit with which I’ve loaded up on cheap Lucid. Though I’m quite...

    3.0 on Air

Sorry….remind me whether some recent model years already this, or not. I recall some kind of computer upgrade in the 2024 or 2025’s….but this may be different? Thanks.

    Arctic Blast

True enough. But for my 68yr old fingers, it feels tricky to remove valve caps through the thin opening….I did it a few times, but it’d be easy for me to fumble the cap once it comes loose. Popping the segment is easy, and I do better with less constrained access. (I’m also old school enough...

    Arctic Blast

You know you can pivot those black plastic segments out to access the valve stems… so you’re not limited to going through the little slot. The outer edges will swing several inches away from the tire, pivoting from the center.

Some Air Love from Ars Technica

Curious, anyone else with a problem free Air?

Just push in the handle as I leave.

Curious, anyone else with a problem free Air?

I’ve had my ‘25 air touring for a little over a year now, and while I guess I’ve had to do maybe four or five logo resets for random software glitches, other than that no issues at all. (I have to restart my computer more often than my car…) I shut off automatic lock and unlock, because I walk...

Trip Computer efficiency is wrong and here's my proof

My understanding is that the “since last charge” line/calculation includes kilowatt hours that are lost while you are parked – headlights staying on before it gets locked or goes to sleep, any HVAC that may be left on again until it goes to sleep, etc. Plus whatever energy it takes waking up...

    Engineering Explained - Lucid Responded

I am! It always seems so strange that they’re just a tad too tight….even for their own branded bottles! (which I only purchased because I figured at least that would fit!)

    2025 Lucid Air Reliability

Interesting—and encouraging—to hear that Lucid was so relatively cooperative.

    2025 Lucid Air Reliability

2025 Air Touring, coming up on a year of ownership. No issues needing service attention, though I have a list of little things for them to check on when I do my one year service check up. Having the heat pump HVAC system is a benefit of the 2025s. Very little efficiency hit when cooling...

    Auto Unlock

My phone is working great these days as a key; I decided to try it again instead of the fob after some folks mentioned the phone was working better after recent updates. (the fob had always been pretty much flawless, but it would be nice not to have to carry it.) I also noticed something I...

Edmunds Range Test of Gravity GT

The “adjustment number” used for that multiplication is 0.7…..so it lowers the modeled range, in an attempt to account for real-world conditions (and speeds) that the models don’t capture. This is for the more complex EPA model that Lucid (and Tesla among others) uses. I’ve never really...
