Network requirements for Lucid app connectivity

I've got the car on a dedicated VLAN since Lucid doesn't publish network requirements. I've had no connectivity issues since doing that.

    Charging issue - bent pin

Any idea how it happened? I'd really like to not bend mine.

    Preconditioning Battery Faulty

Since you've had a mobile tech out already I'll assume basic troubleshooting has been completed. What's their plan moving forward? Are they taking your Gravity for in-house service?

An Open Letter to Lucid: 1,408 Miles In, 3.52 mi/kWh, and a New Owner's Wish List

I know! I'd love to see notes from early product design meetings to see if there was any dissent from the engineers about the decidedly simple interface we ended up with.

An Open Letter to Lucid: 1,408 Miles In, 3.52 mi/kWh, and a New Owner's Wish List

All great suggestions that have been discussed ad-nauseam here. Make sure you reach out to Lucid with your suggestions, I very much doubt they have anyone on staff who's spending time reading open letters. I'm not sure if it's a conservative software development budget or an actual product...

LIDAR - Safest car on the road potential?

Tesla's software also accounts for the most fatalities of all these systems. I wonder if that number would be any lower if they integrated a full sensor suite into their ADAS stack rather than just CCDs. Gotta crack a few eggs to keep the investors frothy I suppose.

    Warping on the rear glass

Mine has some warping around the periphery. Most cars I've owned with more severe angles on the glass like the Air exhibit the same. Can't say I've ever brought it up with service, I didn't really think it was a problem. Maybe if it was across the entire pane like a funhouse mirror I'd be...

Rubber bumpers under front of car

That's all I hear when I see this thread 🤣

Rubber bumpers under front of car

Glad to hear they're cheap to replace. My municipality did a terrible job paving the street I live on; the curb at the end of my driveway is the perfect height/angel to scrape those airdams. I wince every time.

2024 Lucid Air Touring — $22K Repair Estimate, Insurance Wants to Total It. Advice?

One of the vendors who is active here posted a really good breakdown of why these repairs can be so costly - https://lucidowners.com/threads/minor-damage-more-than-meets-the-eye.17192/ I feel you on this one. I don't really care about the depreciation, but the design choices that lead to...

    Crash

Yikes Lucid needs to get in front of this quickly if it's becoming a thing. How'd that conversation go? Were you asking for telemetry data or did they reach out to you? Not the first time we've heard of them clamming up once counsel gets involved.

    UX Suggestion re: forgotten key

Not sure I'd want a "Fisher Price" style warning on the screen, but I would like to see an indication somewhere when a key is detected in the vehicle. That would go against Lucid's motif of "least-possible amount of information displayed to the driver" though.

    Pocket Cast problems

I've seen this behavior when the car's network connection drops out. Although I haven't used the native Pocketcasts application since the 2.11 update.

    Gravity-Pilot Program?

    Ionna!

Agreed, it is kind of a nothingburger when you get one close by. Unless it's one of their fancy ones with amenities? Not sure how many of those they've rolled out aside from their Apex, NC spot. I usually catch a charge when they do those 20 cent specials though. That beats my home rate by a few...

Best App to use for Tesla charging

I despise charging network-specific apps. I've only ever used a TESLA charger once on my Air, and plug-n-play worked fine.

    3.0 on Air

Maybe the SC forgot to update the wheel size in the software, have you checked to see what it's set to? I don't remember offhand where the setting is but if you root around in the vehicle settings it's in there somewhere.
