Texted my mobile tech today...he said the fob update can be done at my house and I have an appointment for next week (or sooner if he's nearby in the area and can swing by if I'm home).

I have also experienced this twice now where the screens stay black for about 20 seconds until they finally come on (which they eventually do and the car drives normally if I wait it out).

Phone call audio quality and connectivity is also improved. No echoes heard on the other end (which had been an intermittent issue). That being said, I've only made 1 phone call so far but the phone does seem to show my contacts every time (which it was not doing reliably on the prior update).

Yes, you can set it to record events like accidents, hard braking and horn honking (user selectable). It will record the prior 30 seconds and the next 30 seconds and store it in the app in the car. You can also hit the "record" button the screen to instantly record anything you want.

I believe my R8 also didn't work using the Amazon USB-C cable with the front console USB-C ports...though I only tried it once and it was very briefly right after getting the car. I didn't think much of it because I actually chose to plug it into the A/C outlet on the back of the center console...

While I can't compare directly to the smaller wheels since I've never been in a Gravity with the smaller wheels, I can say the 22/23's have almost no road noise and the ride quality and handling are great!

When I talked to the techs the last time they were here, they basically told me almost everything can be done mobile unless it requires a specialized piece of equipment which he said basically boils down to needing a lift for the vehicle to do a major repair such as a battery/drive unit...

I'm pretty sure the mobile techs will be able to handle the update out in the field without a physical trip to a service center.

Considering I don't really have any issues...I'm scared the "big update" could actually break my current good situation! Just got back from about 180mi road trip with zero issues or gremlins...the car was great! Maybe I should loan hmp10 my car for a weekend so he can see what the car is...

Like HC_79, I was able to find a sweet spot position of both back seats (with the seats very slightly offset from each other) and the squeak has not returned ever since moving the seats to that position over a month ago. You might be able to find the sweet spot by hopping around in the 2nd row...

What a mess! Sorry to hear about all that....However, on the bright side, I hear bad things come in 3's so you should be good to go from here!
