    Air Version 2.9.0

I was also just presented with 2.9.2 (previously on 2.8.30). Someone on Reddit said 2.9 was not for RWD cars. I have a 2025 Pure so maybe that's why it's 2.9.2...? I wonder if there's some difference in RWD cars that triggered the reduced regen bug. I lived with that for 6 months until 2.8.30...

What is your perspective on the "flood" of used Lucid Air Lease Returns affecting Lucid's Sales in the coming years?

How many Airs have sold in total over its entire lifetime? 25k? Whatever it is, it won't be much of a flood, and I'd guess a decent percentage of the people turning in their Air lease are going to a Gravity. I don't see a potential Gravity customer (5-7 passenger SUV ~$100k) cross-shopping a...

    Air Version 2.8.30

After installing 2.8.30 in my 2025 Air Pure, it seems the regen issue is finally fixed. My regen got drastically reduced in September, I can't even which release it was. 2.8.7 I think. For 6 months I have been receiving errors about regen being reduced due to battery state of charge even while...

Tyson's Corner - They're Making Me Beg Them To Give Them My Money

Call Naz at the corporate office. The turnaround for me from Tysons to her was tremendous. They found me a car I wanted and shipped it from PA to Tysons at no cost and I was back up there a week later picking it up. Edit - I still got the onsite discount too!

Kyle shares more about Lucid Cosmos

I'd rather not have the weight. Make it an 85kwh battery with the same driving range and save 250lbs of dead weight

Tyson's Corner - They're Making Me Beg Them To Give Them My Money

My experience with a Tysons sales rep was so ridiculously bad it's still hard to even believe. After I literally walked away from the sales rep and buying the car, I decided to call headquarters and had all my weeks' worth of issues/questions resolved and my $500 deposit made within 10 minutes...

    1/2 platinum 1/2 stealth

It looks great but you can't order that. I told my SA back when I bought my Air in June 2025 that the ideal combo would be Fathom Blue with Stealth package, but Platinum wheels. They wouldn't do it. I got Platinum because those dark wheels just look dirty to me. But the rest of the trim on the...

What are some software things you LIKE about the car?

I understand, I was trying to make the point that Alphabet, who makes Android, made an ugly and clunky UX on top of their own product so Lucid's implementation is pretty damn good (from an aesthetic and design standpoint)

What are some software things you LIKE about the car?

And yet, Android Auto is ugly as sin. The designers did a really good job on the aesthetics of the Lucid UX

What are some software things you LIKE about the car?

I think the graphic design of the Lucid UX is great, remarkably good for a first vehicle (I have a 2025 Air so I didn't see the initial versions in 2022). The menu system and how the controls are laid out is also pretty intuitive and easy to use. When I have passengers, the only thing that seems...

Android Mobile App 2.12.0 - Is Anyone Else Having Problems?

My app is finally working again too. I was having to force stop and clear cache every time or else it would never connect to the car. I also have the widget, but I didn't remove it and today everything seems to be working again. I don't think the problems were in the app version, but were...

Trip Computer efficiency is wrong and here's my proof

Thanks for the feedback. I was away for the weekend and it's been cold here all week so I haven't driven my car in over a week (summer tires, I just use a backup ICE car when it's in the 30s). But today I finally drove it and reset the trip computer as soon as I unplugged it. I want to test this...

Trip Computer efficiency is wrong and here's my proof

That's really great feedback, thank you! It does make sense to me that it's about when the data is reset versus how much power my 60 second charge is adding. I will reset Trip A and test this again a few times.

Trip Computer efficiency is wrong and here's my proof

In a bubble, yes it does. But it doesn't apply to my scenario, so my initial hypothesis holds. I am only waking up my car sometimes a minute or two before I leave. A cell phone can't even get 1% charge in that time, so my car on a 110v plug is not preconditioning in 2 minutes.

Trip Computer efficiency is wrong and here's my proof

I understand that concept but it's not what's happening. I am on a 110v outlet, level 1 charging. This trick works if I wake the car 60 seconds before I leave. That outlet can't produce enough power in 60 seconds to heat the battery a single degree

Trip Computer efficiency is wrong and here's my proof

After update 2.8.7, regen acts like I charged to 100% when I'm only at 80%, so I changed my nightly charging limit to 75% to get some of my regen back
  19. S

Trip Computer efficiency is wrong and here's my proof

Yes, "since last charge" but the lifetime efficiency goes up or down relative to what I'm seeing on the "since last charge" efficiency anyway. I'll reset one and replicate the test

Trip Computer efficiency is wrong and here's my proof

I'm sorry you'll have to translate that for me as I don't understand what you're saying. I'm not talking about the displayed charge. I'm saying when I charge to 80% (or whatever limit I set) every day and drive the same route in the same conditions, the efficiency (miles per kilowatt hour)...
