Getting close to leasing a Gravity

The original. He came up with the idea when Rizzo was mayor. The current lights were unveiled the day after he passed away.

Getting close to leasing a Gravity

I had a nice chat with one of the KoP guys this evening. He was saying that with the new CEO, and new manufacturing strategy, he wouldn't be surprised if there weren't any Really Great Deals this holiday season. He also said that the Black Friday deals usually aren't that great (an extra...

Getting close to leasing a Gravity

I’m from Philly (fun fact - my dad designed the lighting on Boathouse Row) but I live in Savannah. I’ve seen at least one Gravity here.

Getting close to leasing a Gravity

Just so I understand, you're talking about the percentage of the car you are "buying" with the lease? So with a Gravity being "a touch worse than neutral," you'd be paying over half the price of the car in lease payments over the three years?

Getting close to leasing a Gravity

I just checked my actual policy and it’s about $3200 a year with $500k/$1 million. I’ll have to ask them what the story is, since SoCal SHOULD be more expensive than Savannah. If the estimate is right, I’d be at $4200 🤢

Getting close to leasing a Gravity

My only "fear" is that they will offer me a Touring for the price I want, but will tell me I can get a GT for some small amount more. And I'd probably do it. 😂 I don't need the extra power, and while the longer range would be nice, it's also not...required. Actually, I SHOULD have said I want a...

Getting close to leasing a Gravity

A brief history...I was thinking about an Air when I first started seriously considering an EV, three years ago. But at the time, you couldn't lease a Lucid in Savannah, so I ended up with a BMW iX. That lease is ending in February, and I first test drove the Gravity around Christmas and it...

Gravity CCS1-to-NACS Adapter Failure to Connect for Charging

Well...my middle initial is "J" and I've been to a few tapings of the Tonight Show back in the 90s... :p When I had it installed, I asked them to use heavier gauge wiring so that I could upgrade the charger to 100W if I wanted to. In hindsight that was kind of silly. The reality of charging...

Gravity CCS1-to-NACS Adapter Failure to Connect for Charging

Just curious…I have a BMW iX for a few months and am looking very seriously at the Gravity. I have a home charger with a CCS port. Should I get a new charger (or cable) or is the adapter good enough for regular use?

Out of Spec roadtrips Gravity and DDP2 has some issues

Last Christmas I was in LA visiting folks. My buddy lent me his 2023 Model S with FSD. Even though I know my way around SoCal, I let FSD chauffeur me and it did a pretty amazing job. I took over from time to time, but nothing egregious happened.

Gravity as home battery backup TWICE now..

I just put in solar. I have a FranklinWH battery and controller. It supports V2H, so its basically a matter of running a cable. When Lucid supports V2H. And I get a Gravity

Long Post: My Gravity Purchase Experience and Why I Lost Confidence in the Sales Process

I missed the part where you explained why there was a problem with the sales process. I wanted to lease a GV60 a few years ago, and the model I wanted didn't arrive at the dealership until after the new year, and the lease price doubled. The sales guy said he'd understand if I didn't want the...

    QUESTION Prospective buyer questions

I’d rather have an ix5, but that’s next summer, maybe. Ix3 is about $70k. I think the payment was so high was because they were valuing my iX lease as a trade in, so they rolled the negative equity into the lease. Websites say $1100/month is a normal price. The Touring model I want goes for...

    QUESTION Prospective buyer questions

Well, I lied. My local dealer got a couple of iX3s in last week, and I got to test drive one. Really nice. Unfortunately (at least today) the lease deals aren't there. It would be about $1500/month, plus a big down payment. My BMW dealer really wants to get me into the car, but I don't expect...

A very frustrated 2026 Lucid Gravity owner journey

I'm probably leasing a Gravity at the end of the year, and I live 250 miles from the Roswell SC. Fortunately I'm close to the Orlando SC. Only 243 miles!

    QUESTION Prospective buyer questions

Well...I am still debating the iX3, but it'll probably come down to "what's available in 4 months." So if the iX3 is available for a decent lease, then I will probably go that route. My local BMW dealer isn't even sure if they'll have a test car by the end of the year. What I EXPECT will happen...

    QUESTION Prospective buyer questions

I was in King of Prussia back in April and asked them about the difference, and they just said it was the included options. I think they added "X dollars" of options as standard on the 2027 models and then raised the price "X dollars."
