WINDSHIELD REFLECTIONS ( Dash & HUD)

Yeah I'm wondering if I just had bad luck with the reflections since I haven't seen it be that bad since that one time. Still, seeing it within the first 24 hours is not a great indicator.

WINDSHIELD REFLECTIONS ( Dash & HUD)

Yeah, I worry that this is an unavoidable side effect of just being bigger, but I don't know enough projection optics, so maybe that's completely unfounded. Maybe the part delays have just made it hard to iterate and refine the HUD and it will get better with time.

WINDSHIELD REFLECTIONS ( Dash & HUD)

I think many of us on here have had HUDs on other vehicles. I've had at least 5 across Mazda, Volvo, and BMW. While the Gravity's is the largest, highest, and brightest I have used, it is also the blurriest and by far the most reflective on the windshield, by a very wide margin.

I've had this a couple times. Rebooting fixed it for me both times.

WINDSHIELD REFLECTIONS ( Dash & HUD)

As an experiment I drove all weekend with the HUD. The reflection issue really is angle dependent. I only had a couple moments where it was annoying. For the moment I have a mat to cover it if it gets bad. Having said that, it's still blurry and looks wonky, I don't see any way to focus or...

WINDSHIELD REFLECTIONS ( Dash & HUD)

I took delivery in the afternoon and the HUD seemed fine, a bit basic and the blurriness was really annoying, but I was glad the info was there. Then the next day with full sun I got two sets of very distracting reflections, the bottom reflection in the photo and the big blue oval above it. The...

    Kids and gear for Gravity

I installed a Clek Foonf this morning. Tried in the center seat first. You can get it in there in such a way that the passenger side seat can still slide forward, but it's halfway over the seatbelt latch for the driver side's seat. We donated our Diono, so I can't test, but it would probably...

    Kids and gear for Gravity

I thought I had read that there was isofix in the third row as well, but my vehicle 100% does not have latches on the bottom. Surprisingly, there's a gap in there where they could go (maybe future?), but no latches and no icon patches. I asked about this at delivery and they were surprised I...

    Foot rest aka "dead pedal"

Just following up here. The mechanical pedal seems to work fine and *just* fits without removing anything. I definitely will keep trying to get a wired pedal but I can drive the car safely and fairly comfortably. Only really issue was the floor mats were too smooth to grip the device but...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Took delivery today! Only one keyfob but otherwise smooth. This forum is pretty accurate :) overall vehicle seems amazing, haven’t driven it much yet so still getting used to it, fidgeting with settings etc. but did some quick highway acceleration and lane changes and it’s just ridiculously easy...

    Foot rest aka "dead pedal"

There definitely *is* a list because Howell said the Gravity wasn't on it because it was too new. I know for a fact it works on the i4, ev9, and Teslas. I will push tomorrow on whether or not it works on the Air. But in the meantime I still have to squeeze the mechanical pedal in there myself...

    Foot rest aka "dead pedal"

The permanent install would be the Sure Grip Featherlite which supports non floor installation, and even calls out EV compatibility. I am certainly not drilling anything myself and I'm guessing there's no drilling into the flat floor no matter what because of the battery pack and coolant system...

I'll try and take a lot more pictures of white next weekend.

    Foot rest aka "dead pedal"

I have to drive left footed. An easily removable left foot rest makes it a lot easier to install left accelerator equipment. I have a local shop that does modifications, but they are being very "we can't guarantee anything" about it since it's a new vehicle they've never worked on before, so I...

White, QG, AG side by side

The white/stealth is a pretty extreme contrast, but it is a really nice white. Looks a lot better than the white air in my opinion. I was wondering how much the contrast was a camera effect so I was eager to see it in person. It's not as extreme in person as a photo, but it's still more than...

    Foot rest aka "dead pedal"

In case anyone comes across this thread via search - you can get your fingers under the foot rest cover and the floor is NOT flat underneath. Not sure if it extends all the way up but it definitely contours. I will probably pull it at some point, I will add pictures to this thread if I do.

    Foot rest aka "dead pedal"

Has anyone pulled the footrest (or "dead pedal" if you prefer) yet? It looks like the whole thing is plastic and like it just pulls off but I didn't want to go yanking on one in a showroom 😅 Specifically wondering if the piece is hollow and the floor is flat underneath or if the floor is...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

I was a little dubious about this and it did turn out to be end of quarter confusion / garbled comms. Still, should have the vehicle in a few weeks hopefully.
