    3.0 on Air

I haven't had a chance to drive my car after the update yet, but I think for people who are seeing CarPlay and AA not being able to utilize the full display might need to do this?

    3.0 on Air

I doubt $950 for new SoC and installation labor makes Lucid any money, most likely Lucid is breaking even on this. Lucid's price is pretty nominal considering current inflation on all computer related hardware especially memory. Tesla used to charge $2k for chip upgrade.

    3.0 on Air

I have a 2023 Touring and I had got the CCCV2 upgrade few months back. Got the update notification! Installing it right now. Hopefully things would be largely bug free!! 🤞🏼

Interested in Previewing Future Lucid Air Software?

I just drove my brother's Gravity GT (which I had convinced him to get :xD) this morning on 3.6.4. I think there's still a lot of scope for improvement in terms of usability, ease of finding information and overall UI polish. Is there a thread or forum where Lucid is taking feedback on...

Interested in Previewing Future Lucid Air Software?

Can some folks who are able to attend the event give us some updates?

    Air Version 2.9.0

I used to get all updates with the included cellular. Now the car is asking me to connect to WiFi to download the update. Seems like a recent change. I do not like this as I live in an apartment building and there is no WiFi in the basement parking. My drive to work is not that long and I do no...

What's the most PSI you've ever put into a road car tire?

This is dangerous. Tires usually have a max PSI rating. Anything above that could results in a blast.

    Lucid gets some Welcome News

Will not translate to more sales until they fix the crappy software. I wanted to convince my brother to buy Gravity since it fulfills all of his requirements and both Air and Gravity drive great. But his main requirement (specially with a kid) is consistency for which I cannot recommend Lucid...

    Tidal Music

Is the sound quality same if you play on Tidal via CarPlay vs the native app? I don't think Tidal via CarPlay supports dolby atmos but I am not 100% sure.

How hot are your heated seats?

I have a 2023 Touring (built around Sep–Nov 2022). The front seats heat reasonably well — level 1 is mild, level 3 is comfortably warm. But the rear seats barely produce any heat, even on the highest setting. I’m in Seattle, so I do use the heaters in winter, though it’s not as cold here as the...

    Lucid Air 2.8.9

I'll summarize my issues with 2.8.7 and Lucid hasn't been able to push 2.8.9 to my vehicle since it lost cellular reception and won't scan wifi networks :( Screens randomly shutting off: All three screens (instrument cluster, center, and passenger) occasionally go dark in the middle of a drive...

    Lucid Air 2.8.9

Can you please elaborate on how you have setup this?

    Software Version 2.8.7

These 3-4 images sum up my robustness update. 2023 Air Touring with DD Pro. Only real positive difference I have seen is that mobile key works now (in basement without internet). Earlier it mostly worked with good cellular reception (hit n miss). Lucid needs to hire some good software engineers...

Battery Coolant Pump Issue - Take Two

Haha in my case, it will be reactive :p https://lucidowners.com/threads/coolant-pump-issue.11689/post-291110

    coolant pump issue

This issue happened with my car last Friday. I had picked up my car from service on 8/18 for minor vibration and seat leather issues. Went on a roadtrip from Washington to Oregon and on 8/22, 30 mins after a DC charging session at EA, I started noticing loss of power when pressing the...

Anyone up for auto insurance rate comparisons?

Anyone in Seattle area? I am paying around $4200 per year ($350/month) with AllState. I have 2 claims in last 3 years. Both not-at-fault. I feel like Seattle's rates are high. I used to pay $150/month for Tesla model 3 with Tesla Insurance when in Bay Area. As soon as I moved to Seattle, I had...

Collision. Bumper, left fender and AC compressor damage. Got $29k quote from Bed-red Auto in Bellevue.

My final bill was around $41k (fully paid by insurance) and the shop Bel-red Auto rebuild took 5 months and 7 days to get the repair done (the initial estimated time given by shop was 2-2.5 months). Out of the total time taken, Lucid took 4 weeks to deliver the parts (so probably 2 more weeks...

Collision. Bumper, left fender and AC compressor damage. Got $29k quote from Bed-red Auto in Bellevue.

An update on my issue: I ended up giving my car to Bel-Red Auto Rebuild (in Bellevue) due to following reasons: 1. Earliest appointment for Pacific Auto Body was 9/23 and that would be when they open the car and start making detailed estimate. My accident happened on 8/3 and Bel-Red was ready to...

Collision. Bumper, left fender and AC compressor damage. Got $29k quote from Bed-red Auto in Bellevue.

After talking to the guys at the two certified body shops, it is also apparent that Lucids are much better made in terms of build quality than Tesla.

Collision. Bumper, left fender and AC compressor damage. Got $29k quote from Bed-red Auto in Bellevue.

Just went to the other shop in the morning today [Pacific Auto Body in Seattle]. Told the guy I'll be paying out of pocket for this and he took a look at the car. I also told him all essential things that the other shop mentioned that needed to be repaired/replaced (like the AC compressor)...
