Will marketing finally make a turn? Ex Hyundai executive hired by Napoli

CR had a fairly limited number of vehicles listed. But luckily there are quite a few credible sources running EV highway range tests. Aside from a vehicle too new to have 3rd party tests available, it's a bit puzzling to me that someone would be surprised by the highway range of their EV.

    Need Help with Lease Anxiety

I view leasing not as a finance cost, but rather as insurance against corporate problems due to Lucid not yet being financially stable, or perhaps their inability to support the Gravity to my liking. Normally I buy new cars and keep them for many years, but this will be my first purchase from a...

Will marketing finally make a turn? Ex Hyundai executive hired by Napoli

Wow, what a lot of gloom on this thread! Does Lucid have multiple problems that it needs to solve. Yes! Does leadership of every company need to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time? Also yes! Hiring a person good at marketing is a key ingredient for Lucid seeing the success we'd...

    My Gravity welcoming the HEAT

Okay, now we need more details! What was the outside temperature there? I'm assuming above 100/38, given my experience visiting the UAE at this time of year.

Air Pure vs Grand Touring in 2026

Wasn’t there a moment when the glass roof was an option for the Pure?

Where is UX 3.0 for the Air?

Indeed, it is hard to predict what the new CEO will keep, and what he will axe. But I feel like it makes real sense for Lucid to converge on a common software platform and upgrade the Air. That would save them a lot of effort over time. If Lucid were to decide to stop adding anything to the...

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

I think 8-10 years is a plausible time frame for a personal vehicle. It's possible that FSD with human supervision is safer than a human driving alone (but maybe not, Tesla is cagey about releasing data), but I want a vehicle that can safely drive me when I'm not able to properly supervise...

    Amazon frunk seat

Yeah, my intent is to defer buying the OEM frunk cushion until I establish whether I ever want to sit there or not.

Knock Knock, Lucid… It’s the Air Owners. Remember Us? 😂

The Gravity software has improved a lot, but there's obviously still some room for polish to be applied. I'm not sure why an Air owner would be eager to shift to the Gravity's software base before Garvity owners are pretty uniformly happy with the software quality. Given the sentiment amongst...

Where is UX 3.0 for the Air?

I'm not sure I'm reading the subtleties of your post correctly, but I'm a bit baffled why you bought an AGT if you don’t appreciate its virtues as much as you appreciate the strengths of a model 3.

I sold it.... =( .... Can I still hang out with you guys?

Wow, that was a very short total time of ownership for you!

    Poor recall services

The new CEO has acknowledged the problem, and it seems like they are making it a priority to improve things. Of course, time will tell. I entirely sympathize with the comments that say someone plans to bail out of Lucid when their lease is up. But I'd certainly hope that Lucid makes a big...

    Embarrassed Lucid praise moment

While it would be great if every feature was 100% flawless, it does sound like refusing to carry the fob is a case of being stubborn to your own detriment.

[Suggestions] Software features from other brands that make sense

Hopefully the Lucid software team is close to resolving the bigger issues, and can switch to a steady stream of incremental refinement like you suggest.

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

I think everyone here is repeatedly acknowledging that the X was Tesla's comparable vehicle to the Gravity, not the Y. The Y and Gravity obviously live in different parts of the market, and we won't know whether Lucid can credibly compete with the Y until the Cosmos comes out. It's pretty...

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

I would highly value eyes-off autonomy. Eyes-on autonomy is much less exciting for me. Obviously Tesla is ahead of Lucid on their eyes-on autonomy. But when I do a 3.5 hr drive from Tahoe to San Francisco, it isn't relaxing to have to be constantly prepared to take over with no warning. It...

    My Service Experience with Lucid

This puzzles me. Why doesn't your lawyer just have them served with papers? If they don't respond, the court will have you win by default.

What's your wish list for Lucid Gravity

My assumption (hope?) is that the dash cam feature is just immature, and they'll improve it for everyone as time goes by.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Yeah, that's my driving pattern as well. Occasionally roll the window down for a key pad, parking ticket, or to talk to a neighbor (or highway patrol officer 🤣), but when I'm driving I always have the windows up. Between climate control and listening to the radio, windows up is better.

Nobody left working Lucid Support? (Also, dark pattern hold music.)

I hate the hold that breaks in with a recorded voice regularly, because it makes it hard to concentrate on something else as I wait. And with or without the recorded voice, you could still be on hold forever.
