Make sure to also check the opening/closing of your frunk.

    Air Version 2.8.30

I also experienced the frunk opening problem after 2.8.30 update. Actually damaged the front silver strip. Going in tomorrow for fix. This did happen a while back also.

Racoon ran in front of car...gonna be expensive

One of our Bay Area members let her husband drive the car and he hit a coyote. I do believe it was somewhat expensive.

Anyone using the lucid home charger with j1772 and Tesla adapter??

My son has charged his Model 3 Tesla and more recently his Model Y Tesla with his adapter using my LCHCS charger. I don't recall what kW he was getting but he will be coming up with a 2018 Model S this week and I will pay more attention to how high (kW) it charges at. My LCHCS is at full power...

    Frunk Opening Interior vs. App

Christopher told me to always use the fob to open the frunk and avoid using the internal dash release. I have had problems using the internal release as you described but the fob works better most of the time.

An Air UX 3.x Question for you Software Pros...

Most likely there will be a group of "beta testers" chosen and perhaps might even already be running the UX3.0?? In any case, hopefully by the time the masses get it there won't be any significant surprises.

    Air Version 2.8.30

I agree I am totally happy with my Lucid as is with the exception of V2H which was promised to me in late 2021 as being "available very soon". So this Fall it will be five years since "available very soon" which has been repeated multiple times.

SOLD Lucid Air EZ-Spare Kit for SF South Bay pickup - $200

Deane, if you still want to sell it I'll take it. Did your GT have the 21" staggered wheel/tire setup? I noticed when zooming in on the spare it indicates it is a 20"??

    Possible withdrawals by Gulf investors

Totally agree with you Kairide!! My Dream Edition is in service right now for the four year annual (nothing to complain about just an annual service). As I've posted before, I've owned many great cars (four Porsches one of which I raced for five years on every track in CA; three Mercedes; a...

    Monitoring the 12v battery

My car just went in today for its four year service. The service includes replacement of both 12V batteries. I've never had a problem with either of them but my car is garaged almost all the time and when we've traveled away from home it has always been in reasonably good weather.

    Apple Watch app working great

The reason I turned off my home wi-fi for the car is because I was having problems getting some of the recent OTA updates. As soon as I turned off the wi-fi the OTA update downloaded without any problem. So I have left it off since I really didn't see any benefit. Also my Apple Watch doesn't...

Lucid Motors slashes 12% of its workforce as it seeks profitability (Feb 2026)

Unfortunately the Service Centers are being hit by this reduction and I for one think that is a serious mistake. I'm coming up on my 4 year service in two weeks and my service center has lost two to this cut and two others quit recently. If they really want to cut costs they should focus on...

    Tires Replacement

My original set of LM1 tires lasted right around 20k miles. The fronts were worn down to close to time for replacement and the rears still had many miles left but I decided to replace all four last year because I wanted new tires for the rainy season. I know I could have gone another 5k miles...

No. The car was designed for the staggered tires.

    Tires Replacement

If the tires have the LM2 designation on them they are the right ones. The LM2 is an improved design from the LM1 tires that came on the car. Haven't seen the bubble problems noted with the LM2 tires thus far to the best of my knowledge. As noted by TakeDuo get the tire certs from America's...

Confusing and Conflicting information from Lucid regarding equipment

Someone above mentioned that Lucid made the DDPro and other upgrades optional on GT cars which I believe is true but I don't believe that applied to any of the 2022 GT's. It came later when they were trying to reduce the initial pricing. Since you are planning to go to Natick for the CCV...

Confusing and Conflicting information from Lucid regarding equipment

I have the 2022 Dream Edition so I may be out of my league here but originally I was signed up for the Grand Touring and upgraded to the Dream when additional vehicles became available (500 increased to 520). Anyway, it was my understanding that all 2022 Grand Tourings came with every option...

SOLD 2022 Dream Performance Edition Lucid Air #234 (19k miles) $63999 OBO

Suggest you spend the money to repair the 21" Dream Edition wheels and mount them for the photos. Much better looking then the 19" wheels.

    V2H Coming Soon

Rarely gets below freezing here. Car is kept in my garage so some protection from the cold. We have power outages here all year round; primarily resulting from high winds (fire danger in Spring/Summer/Fall) and cars hitting poles, power substation fires (happened just a month ago). and other...
