Lucid did not reinvent anything here. They purchased access control hardware from Marquardt, one of the oldest automotive suppliers around and a supplier to many other high end automakers. The trope that Lucid reinvented something access control is simply not true.

Yes it does and it will choose compatible chargers for you.

It is a communication issue between the car and the charger. Old Tesla V2 sites have a different communication protocol than the newer V3 and V4 sites.

What plug are you using to plug in the 40A mobile charger. If you have the 30A plug (this needs to be purchased separately since it does not come with the charger), then you are good. If you are using a NEMA 14-50 plug and receptacle, then this is unsafe.
