  • North Scottsdale to Tempe. Interesting move. I live by Kierland and my son and his family are in Tempe so I am in both often and do the drive between them all the time. You do have more available fast chargers than I do (other than Tesla): Arizona Mills and Chandler outlet shops. In a few hours I will be at Whirlwind (Wild Horse Pass) playing golf. I belong to the Phoenician Golf Club so I play there mostly but my golf partners and I like to play at Whirlwind occasionally because we love to go to Baby Kay's restaurant afterwards for wonderful Cajun food (Dobson Road near Baseline)

We used to live about a mile S of Pinnacle Peak. Over time, the kids & grandkids moved to WA, so it was time to downsize into a 'lock and leave' closer to the airport. I also wanted to shift my exercise to less hiking and more rowing, so we bought a condo on Tempe Town Lake.

The dearth of EA chargers in Scottsdale makes no sense to me. I guess the assumption is that with all the high-tech companies in the SE valley, that more of the EV early adopters would be there, and not necessarily living in a house with home charging.

Baby Kay's sounds great. I put it on our list of places to try out. Thanks for that!
I am an old man and I even went to Gilda Radner's one woman show on Broadway (she actually had one other performer...Don Novello as Father Sarducci) as I was living in the City at the time. She was magnificent. It was truly tragic that she died so young from cancer.

But, as Roseanne Roseannadanna used to say...if it's not one thing it's another.

I don't think Gene Wilder ever recovered from her death.

She was consistently great on SNL, at a time when the show was pretty hit and miss.

Ha! Father Guido Sarducci! I haven't thought about him for years. Loved his bit about the 'comin and a goin planet'.
