Lol, fixed that in my most recent post! Then again, I guess you could say that a car falling to pieces causes it to slow down..

Sometimes you need the actual brakes.

And everyone should use them periodically unless they like buying brake components all the time.

sure, of course. but I've had a tesla since 2019 and never had to change the brake pads or rotors, and don't plan to start that with my Lucid

I. Wonder how well they work compared to new?

Not sure I, personally, would be comfortable driving with brakes that haven’t been used in that long. I wouldn’t be willing to bet my or anyone else’s life and limb on little used control systems.
