Signs of service motion improving? (My recent case actually not a head scratcher!)

I understand the frustrations BUT I would submit that WHENEVER the techs get to the car ..the work itself is done well. Which is a huge win in my book. Not saying scheduling is not an issue...but what if the work was also shoddy. So let's appreciate Lucid where it's due also.
Um...let's also realize your experience is possibly not the same as others. ;-) I've now had 3 "longer than a week" service visits over the past 6 months at 3 different SC's. Each time I left I had another major issue with a week. They are doing their best, but hardly perfect. (I blame the Lucid systems, not the individual techs for these.)

Fair point...and sorry for your troubles. I was going by my general impression based on the forum over 3 years that I've been here and should've caveated my statements...I'd say they get it right a larger share of the way than don't..but obviously there are cases such as yours.

After they ran the diagnostics I was told it was an HV battery issue but before they ordered a replacement and took the car in, they sent me home to try charging to 100% and leave the car turned off for 3 days to fix the "battery imbalance". I'm doing as told but how would that fix anything? I explained to them many times my range dropped to almost half after the system warning and battery drained almost 70% while parked for 2 weeks but they think that will fix it? 😬😔🫩😩
Yes, this is a real thing, and that is the real fix.

Your symptoms do sound like an unbalanced battery. Cell imbalance happens when individual cells in a multi-cell battery pack develop different voltages, capacities, or states of charge (SoC). Because a battery pack is limited by its weakest cell, an imbalance restricts how much energy the pack can store or deliver.

Common Signs of Imbalance
  • Reduced Range or Capacity: The battery drains much faster than expected.
  • Abnormal Charging Behavior: The battery reaches 100% too quickly, or stops charging unexpectedly because one cell hits its high-voltage limit first.
  • BMS Fault Codes: The Battery Management System (BMS) triggers error warnings due to voltage discrepancies between cells
