Target $0

Looks to me like $LCID is tracking how effectively the Saudi govt. is fighting the Yemeni Houthis. Spoiler alert...it's going very badly for the Saudis. Hopefully, they'll soon be a ceasefire between the 2 parties.

Just shy of 99% down in the last 5 years. Management stays silent and they are not on there toes trying to fix it.

What do you want management to do…..blabbering doesn’t do anything, they need to show results…..increase deliveries, cut costs…..everything else is temporary

Yep, they're truly stuck between a rock and a hard place right now, and looking very vulnerable. Despite their military build-up, they seem defenseless to stop enemy attacks that are crippling their lifeblood (oil production and transport). The attack from the north took their Red Sea pipeline mostly out of commission, while the Houthis in the south are taking out other infrastructure. The Saudis don't seem to have much defensive capability beyond air strikes.

Their revenues are plummeting. That's probably having impact on all Saudi-linked stocks. And Lucid is not just linked but at this point is almost entirely funded by the Saudis.

If they had any positive news to report they should absolutely be saying it. The problem is they may not have any. If that's the case, staying quiet may actually be the less damaging option.

Agreed. You can’t separate Lucid’s Saudi interests from the broader KSA economy. While AMP 2 may not be a target the Houthis aim to destabilize the economy as a whole. And at present they are succeeding in doing so. It’s hard to bring a new manufacturing facility on-line when workers are staying home. Hopefully there’s a resolution sooner rather than later.

That too, but I'm more thinking continued funding in general. This (hopefully temporary) squeeze on Saudi govt revenues is gonna cause some belt-tightening. That means looking at the whole list of spending priorities. I have no idea where they consider Lucid in their total spending priorities but I can't imagine it's near the top. It might even be near the very bottom, where extending $billions more to Lucid when the current line of credit gets used up is re-thought.

Not saying that's going to happen, but it's one of the many factors some investors are probably thinking about, scaring them away (or out of) LCID stock right now (and others).

Of course, that's always been a risk of any investment in the Middle East. The geopolitical and religious (Sunni vs Shia) unrest has been ongoing for 14 centuries.
